Delta Squadron has been formed on December 24th of 1994, along with [[Alpha Squadron|Alpha]], [[Beta Squadron|Beta]], [[Gamma Squadron|Gamma]], [[Epsilon Squadron|Epsilon]] and [[Lambda Squadron|Lambda]] squadrons. Their original carrier was the [[ISD Avenger]].
The combat role of Delta has always been reconnaissance, with the pilots flying TIE Defenders. The squadron's very first Commander was [[General]] Cli4ord and the unit reached active status on January 7, 1995.

== History of the First Auroran Banking Fleet ==

The First Auroran Banking Fleet was formed by Rapier, Havok Stephen Ronin, and Aticus Jade on June 08 33(ABY). All four had owned several banking chains across the galaxy for several years but finally decided to merge together and create an official currency system of trade for their owned territories, to help further enforce law and order in the galaxy. The four immediately drew up plans to constructe a massive Command Center, with several secret defenses both in and out of the bank. The conversion of the large Command Center was not as complicated as was originally aticipated thus it only took two years to get the bank and new enforced currency system underway.

== Pay Grades of the Emperor's Hammer ==

Pay Grades of the Fleet are paid in full to each member that holds an account (which all members that are active MUST hold an account) by method of direct deposit upon account owner's choice of bi-monthly, or monthly salary. This sum will be the total of Rank + Position + Misc = Salary. The total amount of each member will be different, and in some cases the same. At no point in time can any member of the Emperor's Hammer agree to alter a paygrade beyond the use of a Bonus or Gift. Ranks have been given a lower paygrade because rank does not relfect current work being done. '''Very Important!!! =The Nogii Province=

== Brief Discription ==

The Nogii Province is a massive portion of the Sogaki Region on the North Easter hemisphere of Sahare. Ranging 89 miles wide and 113 miles long, the Nogii Province is among the top three largest provinces on Sahare. There are only three geographical locations known in Nogii, mostly due to its unforgiving bamboo forest that is known for "swalling the unknowing". Only one of these locations is open to the public, a small countryside town known as Hopai. Located almost directly on the border of the Nogii/Pokma border, the small community is mostly dependent upon itself, which explains why hopai has no real stores, hospitals, or even an organized comitee of law enforcement. The town selects at birth of a child what their future will be, and this is how the community survives. From time to time, those who need educations will leave Hopai for several years, but are destined to return, marry, have a family, and serve in their role to the community until death takes them. The folk are very friendly there, but are very relunctant to help anyone who brings weapons for anything outside of hunting into their community. The people of the Hopai community warn travelers not to venture any further north as it leads into the Nogii. The Nogii Province is not only folklore in that community, but the entire planet of Sahare. Tales of short men and women with magical powers to do both good and evil to whom ever they choose. They say that karma brings the "People of the Woods" around.

The Empire has sent teams into the Nogii numerous times, each having mysterious reports upon return. One team however did not return, and the rescue team found only their blasters laid in a perfect circle with their thermal detonators formed into a pyrimad in the center. To this day the team remains an MIA case, and one of thousands of mysterious disaapearances in the Galactic Empire. The woodlands of Nogii are nearly 88% White Moon Bamboo, a rare bamboo found only in the Karana System. Its mostly located on Lears, how it arrived on either planet or moon is still a mystery because the only other locations are lightyears away from Sahare and Lears. Recently the Nogii Province was approved for use by House Draknonan for a ground base of operations. The Empire has supplied a submerged base, which lies beneath a lake in the Bahnba Swamp, in the center of the Nogii. The wilderness in this area of the Nogii is known as Kolup Bogoki by the Hopai, which translates to "Demons Playground", but this nickname was there long before the arrival of the House Drakonan. The Nogii holds much more to it than this, with Drakonan just arriving it is sure to be explored deeper. Much more will soon come to the Nogii Province's details.

=== History of the Nogii Province ===

Dating back to pre Old Republic, the Nogii Province was once actually the Nation of Nogii which covered nearly 93% of all the planet at one point but this was thousands upon thousands of years in history. The history on the great nation is mostly lost, and remnants of the Nogiit people are slim to none. Only one or two ruins of the Nogiit are known to exsist and they are highly restricted now by the Empire for excavations and research. What is known is learned from a few preserved tablets, and writings on ruin walls and monuments. To the vast point, nothing is really known about the Nogiit. What is known is that at some point roughly 2100 years before the Old Republic a people known as the Nogiit ruled the entire planet of Sahare for the most part. Then after a huge fracture in time line we learn that the nation has receeded over what appears to be 800 years. It is now only a half planetary power, with a mighty foe known as the Karanan Empire. The race also claims that the Karanans have brought a violent plague with them, something that eats the soul. Then another time line break which seems to skip to 300 years which shows the Nogiit have fallen to but a large nation on the North Eastern hemisphere of Karana. On the walls of the Asaia Ruins the Empire has discovered paintings of the Nogiit being shorter than many other cultures in their paintings. This makes scientist believe that some of the Karanan folklore may hold truth, but just how much would be the real question.

How the Nogii Empire shrank into what is now the Nogii Province in unknown. What is known outside of what was previously stated is the recorded Karanan history of the Nogii Province, which dates back rougly 200 years now but oddly enough is vastly vague at best. The Karanan Empire for some reason, upon collapse, destroyed much of its documents to keep the Empire from obtaining any superior knowledge of the planet Sahare. Based on the data that was collected we now know that 200 years ago it had been established for quite some time but was never an interest to any of the community in Karana outside of the occasional cuts of white bamboo, which has a separate mystery of many work related accidents and deaths while cutting the bamboo, so not much was recorded outside of a few things about the Hopai Community. A few interesting things of note however did come about over the last 100 years. The Karanan Empire mentions that it had discovered the possibility of a Nogiit corpse on the outer western rim of the Bahnba Swamp. For some reason troops were denied permission to enter any deeper into the swamp, and the corpse was ordered to be decentigrated. Later on in years the Karanan Empire reports that it has discovered the Asaia Ruins in the north eastern outer-rim of the swamp. It appears to be the remnants of a large tower. Exploration teams enter into the catacombs of the ruins only to report that the tunnel is blocked off after 2000 feet in. Currently the Empire is plotting a way to safely recover the collapsed tunnel. The Nogii Province is then marked as a Planetary Landmark, and ordered protected by the Karanan Empire later.

=== The Community of Hopai ===

On the Southern border of the Nogii Province and the Pokma Provice sits the small community of Hopai. With an estimated population of 120, it is the ideal picture of a remote community that survives off of the land. Log houses with bamboo ordaments everywhere. The community there are mostly elders with some middle age men and women just starting their lives their. The community of Hopai is different than most communities. They raise their children until the age of 17, then all children are given a substantual amount of money to go gain a trade from the outsiders world that will benefit the community. When the word trade is used, it is used lightly. There are heavy restrictions to what a Hopai youth may venture out and study to become. And even of the roles that are available hold heavy prerequisits on them for youths to aim for as children. It helps weed out those the Hopai feel belong in the the right place. The Youth is to stay out learning in schools until the age of 45, then the youth is to return to Hopai village and "Start" their life. Upon their return they go directly home to their parents and welcomed back by a town celebration, sometimes multiple people will return at once, in which the Hopai Elders will deem the returning graduate an Adult! Those not part of the Hopai are known as Dopodachi, which roughly translates to "Like Children" due to the fact the Hopai spend so much of their life learning compared to others throughout the galaxy. After the celebration each adult is paired with with a spouce that they (each other) had selected upon the age of 12. After they are married they are encouraged to limit their children to 2 maximum to not over exceed what they had. They would also then be granted a loan by their parents to start their own business in which ever of the several trades they would have learned during their venture from Hopai village.

As a newly paired couple the two would start a life immediately with the husband taking a large loan from either his parents or in-laws to start a business. In some cases the husband would simply go to work under his father's business to continue a lasting business. At this point in time the two have earned many rights as Hopai villagers. The right to drink, attend community meetings(not participate), claim cases in court(not work within one), and own property, are just a few of the bigger ones but the Hopai people are definantly much stricter on different things.

Created by Darth Zannah during the first 10 years of her training. After she was given the information from Freedon Nadd's holocron on sith spells from Darth Bane, she visited the planet Korriban to seek out any additional information on sith spells or sorcerery. It was here that she learned the power to instill the dark side on an inanimate object giving it a 'special power'. She tried a few times with different results, but the one that ultimately worked was on a sith sword that she had found hidden away in Naga Sadow's tomb. After she had worked her sith magic within the sword she found that she could sense the dark side permeating within the sword and that when ever the sword cut any organic material, dark side energy would seep into the wound causing the wound to be immune to healing. It was later found out that not even Jedi healing would not even help. Seeing as how she had her lightsaber she didn't see a need to have two swords, and was going to take it back with her as one of her finest alchemy works. But an unfortunate run in with some sith tomb raiders took that choice away from her.

After Darth Sidious arrived on Korriban, he felt a slight pull from the dark side directing he to the valley of dark lords. Knowing that he had some time before his meeting with Supreme Prophet Kadann, he decided to investigate. The dark side lead him to the tomb of freedon nadd, where he was led to a small cavern just before the entrance to the crypt itself. Seeing several bodies on the ground, some looking as of they had been there for quite some time and others that looked as if they had only recently just been killed there. Upon a closer examination of one of the bodies revealed that what appeared to have killed everyone was what appeared to be a series of small cuts that might have been caused by a metallic cutting item. Although some of the wounds appeared to be older, they looked as of they hadn't started to heal, while other wounds appeared to have developed a very nasty looking infection.
He then remembered a tale that his master had once told him, about a previous Dark Lord that had mastered the art of Sith Alchemy. About how this dark lord had created a weapon that when used to cut a being, would infuse the wound with dark side energy causing an almost instantaneous infection of sorts in the wound and had the potential to make the being who was it to eventually go mad and kill anyone he happened to be around.
He found the weapon in the middle of the cavern, clutched in the hand of an individual that was surrounded by several other being with similar wounds. Taking the weapon and being careful not to cut himself on the blade carried it with him for this meeting with Supreme Prophet Kadann.

== Historical Summary ==

An impressive 26 year service follows the Rear Admiral. Aticus gained his start in the fleet as a fighter pilot for Flayer Squadron. The service was a short lived one due to the Dark Brotherhood's interest in the fleet's newest prospect. After his first year of service, Aticus was initiated as an Apprentice of the Sith Order and as such he was transfered in the TIE Corps to the Avenger Task Force and stationed as a pilot for Slayer Squadron, aboard the S.S.D Avenger. He served both the Sith order and Slayer Squadron well over the course of nine years earning him the ranks of Captain and Dark Jedi Hunter as well as earned his command over Slayer Squadron. Secretly during this time Aticus was flying missions with Demon Squadron, a unit of House Archanis of Clan Taldryan. After thirteen years of continued superior and dedicated service as a pilot Aticus finally earned his next step in the fleet - command of his own ship as a Commodore, but he was not expecting it to be an MC-90! The Warspite was her name and Aticus had earned the reputation of a powerful warrior and cunning Squadron Commander, previously a pilot in the Infiltrator Wing in the legendary Eagle Squadron. Much of the data post of Aticus's command of the Warspite is lost or destroyed, believed due to the exodus of the Brotherhood. In fact, only more recently have records of Aticus Jade been recorded. There are mixed rumors of what happened to Aticus, and the MC-90 Warspite. Some say that the ship was destroyed but Aticus escaped to serve in the Intelligence division as an agent, while others say that he and his brothers stole the vessel and fled to the New Republic's 5th Fleet. Despite the accusations the career of Aticus Jade has not been shaken at all. Currently Aticus is stationed as the Fleet Ambassador, ranked at Rear Admiral and service in the Brotherhood is to Clan Alvaak, under the flag of House Drakonan, but his new focuses are beyond that of combat and battle. Now titled as "Lord Jade, Baron of Karana" and tasked with the diplomatic ends of the fleet the veteran Rear Admiral typically keeps his hands clean of blood these days, but typically is used loosely.

== The Start of an Imperial Legend ==

The Galactic Empire is a deep, vast dynasty with more roots than anyone could hope to pull clean. Upon the death of the Emperor, our Empire was divided between Palpatine's most trusted Grand Admiral's and Grand Moffs. In the following 5 years these privately owned territories began to call themselves their own faction with a name. The Second Imperium, the Imperial Order, ours became known as the Emperor's Hammer Strike Fleet. Next to Thrawn, Ronin was granted command of the second largest fleet in the Empire by Emperor Palpatine himself. At this point in time Aticus was possibly 12, or 13. He had followed the career of Grand Admiral Ronin closely, given the fact that his father was a fighter pilot under his command when he was but only a Captain Stephan Ronin, Commander of Dragon Squadron. Aticus became Ronin's biggest fan when his father told him of a time that Ronin saved him from sure death. The tale was that Angeal(Aticus's father) was captured by slave traders and back at this point in time, Imperial Officers were sold at a high price to Rebel Intelligence. Ronin entered the bid as a buyer, using the stolen credit card of a black market merchant he had just killed. He purchased Commander Angeal Jade for a price of 7000 credits, but before their escape there was a fight. The men had discovered the body of Juliu Pelboa, the merchant Ronin had killed, and then found his card on Ronin. Using a mysterious power that Angeal had never seen before, Ronin choked the life out of 12 men at one time. On the way back Angeal thanked Ronin for his rescue, at which time Ronin revealed that it was because he had already given the Empire a prize that paid off all debt. Angeal was not sure what he meant, but always had a feeling he spoke of Aticus. This was true, Ronin had yet to meet the child of his squad mate, but he knew his future well. This was a point in time before the Dark Jedi populated the Empire's territories, and Bane's rule of two was still in effect thus Ronin's identity as a Sith was well hidden, trusting only in a handful that they never speak of what they saw.

Growing up to such a story was why Aticus was always dire loyal to Ronin, even after he resigned as Fleet Commander. At the age of 14 however, Aticus had thought for sure his dreams of becoming a star fighter pilot to fight along side with Ronin was crashed and ruined. Word of Palpatine's death reached all over the Imperial territories. The second Death Star was destroyed and both the Emperor and Lord Vader were dead. Aticus knew this was the end of the Galactic Empire, and this was the end of any dream he may have had in fighting along side of his hero. Little did he know, he had lost the second hero in his life. His father had recently been appointed to the position of Flight Leader of the 2nd Flight in Palpatine's Will Squadron - the Emperor's personal defense squadron. The appointment had been made based on Grand Admiral Stephan Ronin's suggestion, but it was not in design of Ronin's plan that Aticus's father died - he too lost a very close friend that day. It was a few days after the death of the Emperor that Ronin and Aticus met for the first, but definantly not the last time. At his father's funeral Ronin called Aticus over. The Grand Admiral placed a hand on the young boys shoulder and told him. "Finish with your college, then come take your fathers role in my Navy. I will be awaiting your application, as its already approved Lieutenant.." This was an overwhelming moment for Aticus, and as such he did not know how to react. It was also the moment that his heart plunged into the dark side, and Ronin could feel it. He knew just how powerful of an asset he had aquired through the death of one of the Empire's finest pilots. It would take time, but it was time he had. For the following 4 years Aticus first finished High School at Gella Mova High School on Coruscant, then he attended the Imperial University, Palpatine Campus on Coruscant for 4 years to receive his first degree, a degree in Imperial Law.

== A Dream Come True ==

Fresh out of college, Aticus knew he had but one goal and that was to become a fighter pilot like his fater and destroy the rebel terrorist that had killed his father. His hatered motivated him, his loss focused him, and his pain completed his determination to become the finest Ronin had ever seen. Just like Ronin had promised, Aticus's application was accepted within three hours of its receipt - ordered approved directly from the Fleet Commander's office. This did not effect his training however, just like all of the fleet's pilots Aticus underwent a year of hell. A TIE pilots training is largely unknown outside of the TIE Corps - but just like Stormtrooper training it is both physically and mentally over demanding at the least. Aticus went through a different form of training than what most pilots of current go through. Back then the pilots of the fleet did have simulators, but with Ronin being Sith and wanting only the best the TIE Corps had a three phase training program. White, Blue, and Black phases were a three step process to quickly yet efficiently train and get pilots flying, as the Empire was currently battling the New Republic in nearly all fields of battle, and the EH needed well trained vets out of basic, not rookies. The final phase of this program was known Black by the Empire, but "Suicide Phase" for the pilots. This was the pilots first and often final flight in a TIE Fighter, as it was conducted in a real battle. White phase was mostly book work, and an easy ace for Aticus, with his lowest test grade being a 98%. In white phase he was taught the basics of flight in space, and low to average gravity planets. He was also taught the basics of TIE Fighter maintenance, from the laser cannons to the reverse transfer coils that ran from the panels to the engine. After white phase came blue, a proper name as it represented the blue patch that all EH pilots earned to wear on their uniforms to show they were flight trainees, ready for flight if necessary. At this point pilots were rarely allowed to co-pilot craft such as shuttles, and maybe TUGs. The only time behind a TIE cockpit was done in a simulator, or in the hanger as trainees often did a lot of the repairs and maintenance to TIEs formerly, to help introduce them with common and real time scenarios they may face on their own in the field of battle. The blue phase also teaches pilots how to use make shift parts from other things, such as droids, tools, and even wildlife and vegitation if need be. At the end of the blue phase all pilots will have placed over 200 hours in the simulater and some even performing live flight time with shuttles and TUGs.

Finally Aticus had hit Black Phase. This was the fleet's make or break phase for all pilots. All trainees were brought to formation in the hanger and informed of the battle and mission at hand. The test was simple, carry out your orders and come back alive. If you succeeded you were promoted to Second Lieutenant and placed with an EH Squadron, if you were vaporized you were awarded a proper Imperial burial at space. For some, it was a win-win situation.

== Fade to Black ==

Black Phase, the final deciding factor of the old school TIE Pilot. Pilots were taken and launched into a live combat situation, this meant Black Phase could come at any point for a TIE Pilot in the former days of the fleet. Even if you were only a month or two into training! This phase accumulated a massive 43% mortality rate in the early days of the Civil War, and was amazingly only recently changed. Aticus was granted Flight Status now, and was posted aboard the PLT Daedalus as a Senior Flight Trainee. At this point in his training, Aticus had completed all of his required credentials and had also boosted his training with extra credentials during his wait on Black Phase. Usually this would happen with an EH Reinforcement request from another location nearby the I.W.A.T.S. Trainees would be rushed aboard dozens of shuttles and transports and sent to a responding capital vessel for drop into combat, this invigorating experience that nearly costed Aticus his life was known as Black Phase. His experience, was quite different though.

0327 Hours, July 29th 9ABY.

The Platform Daedalus's alarms sounded alerting all personnel and senior flight trainees that a black phase had just opened. In a matter of fifteen minuets, all 237 pilots had gathered at the launch pads. The Training Officer gave a small speach about how proud he was of each and every pilot there, and that how if they used their training they would come back alive. The truth was out of 237 pilots, possibly 80 would stand a chance in making it back. The trainees were expendable, and were not afforded the luxury of advanced starfighters. They were issued the standard unmodified TIE Fighter, and expected to survive as long as possible and try to take down a couple of fighters before dieing. The truth was, the trainees were a method of battle that the Empire used. It was like releasing gnats into the face of the enemy. While it was not much more than an irritating distraction - it gave the distressed vessel time to escape or grant more time for the real backup to arrive and clean up the battle.

The orders were quite simple. The entire class of seniors would be released to service in the battle to defend the INT Blockader (A Directorate vessel) until the VSD-II Firehawk arrived with superior reinforcements. Then and only then were the trainees allowed to relieve themselves of their posts, even if this meant one trainee left flying into the face of danger. For this operation the trainees would be beta testing a new squadron of Advanced Escort Shuttles, modified for almost twice the manuverability and 1.5 times the speed in and out of hyperspace, and were upgraded with an additional MechX 2 forward mounted swivel/spread cannons. They were quite impressive, and this was a test of their speed and safety thus determining if the I.W.A.T.S would accept them for future use. The briefing was quite bland, but over. Aticus was appointed to pilot Shuttle B-07n along with Cadet Gloria Starsend. The two had flown several training missions together, and though fratranization was not permitted, the two frequently saw each other when no one was around, which lead Aticus to a few tardies. Well worth it in their books though.

They would now have to focus together once more to survive no doubt the most dangerous operation of their career thus far. The lasers and torpedos would not just make the fighter shut down, they would be turned into space dust! A passenger count of 22 pilots filled the hold. Each strapped in gray EH Trainee flightgear, also a way of saving credits as they were the bare minimum, they each had their own way of dealing with the stress of this situation. Some were clown, and tried to joke around to keep morale up. Others were silent and repressed their fear and excitement, while others were jittery and constantly moving or making some kind of noise, a few even prayed for their lives. It was not as enthusiastic and organized as the training operations. Aticus himself was nervous but kept his cool knowing that if he did go, it would take only a split second. His co-pilot was not so nervous. She had a lot of confidence not only in herself, but in Aticus. Knowing their lust had turned into love and that Aticus would be her wing and vice versa till the end.

Half way to the Navbouy a Jump Notice alerted to the PLT Daedalus and all of the shuttles, signaling multiple craft coming in. The signatures instantly lit up red, alerting as Alliance warcraft. Daedulus was at current, nearly defenseless. With only two flights of experience fighter pilots and a handful of rookies that barely knew how to turn a perfect circle - the Daedalus was in immediate danger. Two Squadrons of Y-Wings, and one squadron of X-Wings were closing in on the platform at full speed. Aticus knew there was no choice, there was no time to dock and let the other pilots grab the TIEs, they would have to face these pilots with a full squadron of the new Advanced Escort Shuttles. Aticus notified Daedulus of the advance on the incoming threat and to launch remaining experienced pilots on Daedulus to take defense flight around Daedulus to eliminate anything that got through their assault. All twelve shuttles turned and advanced in a W formation, running at nearly 289 the entire time with still more throttle to go. Their handling was extrodinary even at this speed. The X-Wings had detected the incoming squdaron and moved to intercept them. This allowed a decent distraction for the I.W.A.T.S trainers to take flight.

Upon missile range, each of the shuttles were locked onto and the X-Wings fired their missles at the shuttles. Aticus had taken the Squadron leader position, and began giving the commands. He ordered his sqaudron to hold for fla a cork bob evasion. This tactic could only be done with a fighter that had a very high rate of acceleration, these craft were most of the time custom made. The new shuttles had more than enough thrust power to perform the manueber. The entire squadron slowed to 97 and awaited the missles to come in close range. Once in the entire squadron dived then popped back up behind the missles before the missles had time to dive and hit them. On their way back up the shuttles casted a massive spray of lasers with the six cannons. This forcced the X-Wings to break in multiple direction, exposing their engines to the same heat-seeking missles they had just fired. It was obvious that several of these X-Wing pilots were pry fresh out of training, as they did not know what to do and were destroyed by their own missle. This left only 6 pilots to face. Aticus ordered his squadron into a pincer formation with his shuttle at the pit. The X-Wings opened fire on the shuttles and it forced the squadron to break for a brief moment but they formed back and opened fire while spreading out from each other "Opening the Claw" was the old naval term for it. Aticus patiently watched as two of the X-Wings were immediately shredded, the rotating 6 cannons were capable of pinpoint lockongs in space to give the most accurate shots to disable and destroy attacking craft quickly, mostly because Imperial Officers of high stature would soon be using these.

Four of the X-Wings broke away - three to the right, one to the left and Aticus ordered his four outermost of the claw to engage while he steered his formation around to engage the incoming Y-Wings. It good call because they were gaining distance at an increased rate than normal, obviously their engines had been modified to push more output. It was pry also safe to say they were carrying a payload of advanced bombs, one good run of those from both squadrons and Daedalus would be critical if not devistated. Aticus moved to 180 and almost over shot his advanced, underestimating the acceleration and speed of the new shuttle. Upon closing in he jolted right and order the squadron to break and take, meaning take a target and remove the threat. Aticus closed in on two Y-Wings and opened fire once both sets of three confirmed lockon.

The Warspite was her name and Aticus had earned the reputation of a powerful warrior and cunning Squadron Commander, previously a pilot in the Infiltrator Wing in the legendary Eagle Squadron. Much of the data post of Aticus's command of the Warspite is lost or destroyed, believed due to the exodus of the Brotherhood. In fact, only more recently have records of Aticus Jade been recorded. There are mixed rumors of what happened to Aticus, and the MC-90 Warspite. Some say that the ship was destroyed but Aticus escaped to serve in the Intelligence division as an agent, while others say that he and his brothers stole the vessel and fled to the New Republic's 5th Fleet. Despite the accusations the career of Aticus Jade has not been shaken at all. Currently Aticus is stationed as the Fleet Ambassador, ranked at Rear Admiral and service in the Brotherhood is to Clan Alvaak, under the flag of House Drakonan, but his new focuses are beyond that of combat and battle. Now titled as "Lord Jade, Baron of Karana" and tasked with the diplomatic ends of the fleet the veteran Rear Admiral typically keeps his hands clean of blood these days, but typically is used loosely.

== The Start of an Imperial Legend ==

The Galactic Empire is a deep, vast dynasty with more roots than anyone could hope to pull clean. Upon the death of the Emperor, our Empire was divided between Palpatine's most trusted Grand Admiral's and Grand Moffs. In the following 5 years these privately owned territories began to call themselves their own faction with a name. The Second Imperium, the Imperial Order, ours became known as the Emperor's Hammer Strike Fleet. Next to Thrawn, Ronin was granted command of the second largest fleet in the Empire by Emperor Palpatine himself. At this point in time Aticus was possibly 12, or 13. He had followed the career of Grand Admiral Ronin closely, given the fact that his father was a fighter pilot under his command when he was but only a Captain Stephan Ronin, Commander of Dragon Squadron. Aticus became Ronin's biggest fan when his father told him of a time that Ronin saved him from sure death. The tale was that Angeal(Aticus's father) was captured by slave traders and back at this point in time, Imperial Officers were sold at a high price to Rebel Intelligence. Ronin entered the bid as a buyer, using the stolen credit card of a black market merchant he had just killed. He purchased Commander Angeal Jade for a price of 7000 credits, but before their escape there was a fight. The men had discovered the body of Juliu Pelboa, the merchant Ronin had killed, and then found his card on Ronin. Using a mysterious power that Angeal had never seen before, Ronin choked the life out of 12 men at one time. On the way back Angeal thanked Ronin for his rescue, at which time Ronin revealed that it was because he had already given the Empire a prize that paid off all debt. Angeal was not sure what he meant, but always had a feeling he spoke of Aticus. This was true, Ronin had yet to meet the child of his squad mate, but he knew his future well. This was a point in time before the Dark Jedi populated the Empire's territories, and Bane's rule of two was still in effect thus Ronin's identity as a Sith was well hidden, trusting only in a handful that they never speak of what they saw.

Growing up to such a story was why Aticus was always dire loyal to Ronin, even after he resigned as Fleet Commander. At the age of 14 however, Aticus had thought for sure his dreams of becoming a star fighter pilot to fight along side with Ronin was crashed and ruined. Word of Palpatine's death reached all over the Imperial territories. The second Death Star was destroyed and both the Emperor and Lord Vader were dead. Aticus knew this was the end of the Galactic Empire, and this was the end of any dream he may have had in fighting along side of his hero. Little did he know, he had lost the second hero in his life. His father had recently been appointed to the position of Flight Leader of the 2nd Flight in Palpatine's Will Squadron - the Emperor's personal defense squadron. The appointment had been made based on Grand Admiral Stephan Ronin's suggestion, but it was not in design of Ronin's plan that Aticus's father died - he too lost a very close friend that day. It was a few days after the death of the Emperor that Ronin and Aticus met for the first, but definantly not the last time. At his father's funeral Ronin called Aticus over. The Grand Admiral placed a hand on the young boys shoulder and told him. "Finish with your college, then come take your fathers role in my Navy. I will be awaiting your application, as its already approved Lieutenant.." This was an overwhelming moment for Aticus, and as such he did not know how to react. It was also the moment that his heart plunged into the dark side, and Ronin could feel it. He knew just how powerful of an asset he had aquired through the death of one of the Empire's finest pilots. It would take time, but it was time he had. For the following 4 years Aticus first finished High School at Gella Mova High School on Coruscant, then he attended the Imperial University, Palpatine Campus on Coruscant for 4 years to receive his first degree, a degree in Imperial Law.

== A Dream Come True ==

Fresh out of college, Aticus knew he had but one goal and that was to become a fighter pilot like his fater and destroy the rebel terrorist that had killed his father. His hatered motivated him, his loss focused him, and his pain completed his determination to become the finest Ronin had ever seen. Just like Ronin had promised, Aticus's application was accepted within three hours of its receipt - ordered approved directly from the Fleet Commander's office. This did not effect his training however, just like all of the fleet's pilots Aticus underwent a year of hell. A TIE pilots training is largely unknown outside of the TIE Corps - but just like Stormtrooper training it is both physically and mentally over demanding at the least. Aticus went through a different form of training than what most pilots of current go through. Back then the pilots of the fleet did have simulators, but with Ronin being Sith and wanting only the best the TIE Corps had a three phase training program. White, Blue, and Black phases were a three step process to quickly yet efficiently train and get pilots flying, as the Empire was currently battling the New Republic in nearly all fields of battle, and the EH needed well trained vets out of basic, not rookies. The final phase of this program was known Black by the Empire, but "Suicide Phase" for the pilots. This was the pilots first and often final flight in a TIE Fighter, as it was conducted in a real battle. White phase was mostly book work, and an easy ace for Aticus, with his lowest test grade being a 98%. In white phase he was taught the basics of flight in space, and low to average gravity planets. He was also taught the basics of TIE Fighter maintenance, from the laser cannons to the reverse transfer coils that ran from the panels to the engine. After white phase came blue, a proper name as it represented the blue patch that all EH pilots earned to wear on their uniforms to show they were flight trainees, ready for flight if necessary. At this point pilots were rarely allowed to co-pilot craft such as shuttles, and maybe TUGs. The only time behind a TIE cockpit was done in a simulator, or in the hanger as trainees often did a lot of the repairs and maintenance to TIEs formerly, to help introduce them with common and real time scenarios they may face on their own in the field of battle. The blue phase also teaches pilots how to use make shift parts from other things, such as droids, tools, and even wildlife and vegitation if need be. At the end of the blue phase all pilots will have placed over 200 hours in the simulater and some even performing live flight time with shuttles and TUGs.

Finally Aticus had hit Black Phase. This was the fleet's make or break phase for all pilots. All trainees were brought to formation in the hanger and informed of the battle and mission at hand. The test was simple, carry out your orders and come back alive. If you succeeded you were promoted to Second Lieutenant and placed with an EH Squadron, if you were vaporized you were awarded a proper Imperial burial at space. For some, it was a win-win situation.

== Fade to Black ==

Black Phase, the final deciding factor of the old school TIE Pilot. Pilots were taken and launched into a live combat situation, this meant Black Phase could come at any point for a TIE Pilot in the former days of the fleet. Even if you were only a month or two into training! This phase accumulated a massive 43% mortality rate in the early days of the Civil War, and was amazingly only recently changed. Aticus was granted Flight Status now, and was posted aboard the PLT Daedalus as a Senior Flight Trainee. At this point in his training, Aticus had completed all of his required credentials and had also boosted his training with extra credentials during his wait on Black Phase. Usually this would happen with an EH Reinforcement request from another location nearby the I.W.A.T.S. Trainees would be rushed aboard dozens of shuttles and transports and sent to a responding capital vessel for drop into combat, this invigorating experience that nearly costed Aticus his life was known as Black Phase. His experience, was quite different though.

0327 Hours, July 29th 9ABY.

The Platform Daedalus's alarms sounded alerting all personnel and senior flight trainees that a black phase had just opened. In a matter of fifteen minuets, all 237 pilots had gathered at the launch pads. The Training Officer gave a small speach about how proud he was of each and every pilot there, and that how if they used their training they would come back alive. The truth was out of 237 pilots, possibly 80 would stand a chance in making it back. The trainees were expendable, and were not afforded the luxury of advanced starfighters. They were issued the standard unmodified TIE Fighter, and expected to survive as long as possible and try to take down a couple of fighters before dieing. The truth was, the trainees were a method of battle that the Empire used. It was like releasing gnats into the face of the enemy. While it was not much more than an irritating distraction - it gave the distressed vessel time to escape or grant more time for the real backup to arrive and clean up the battle.

The orders were quite simple. The entire class of seniors would be released to service in the battle to defend the INT Blockader (A Directorate vessel) until the VSD-II Firehawk arrived with superior reinforcements. Then and only then were the trainees allowed to relieve themselves of their posts, even if this meant one trainee left flying into the face of danger. For this operation the trainees would be beta testing a new squadron of Advanced Escort Shuttles, modified for almost twice the manuverability and 1.5 times the speed in and out of hyperspace, and were upgraded with an additional MechX 2 forward mounted swivel/spread cannons. They were quite impressive, and this was a test of their speed and safety thus determining if the I.W.A.T.S would accept them for future use. The briefing was quite bland, but over. Aticus was appointed to pilot Shuttle B-07n along with Cadet Gloria Starsend. The two had flown several training missions together, and though fratranization was not permitted, the two frequently saw each other when no one was around, which lead Aticus to a few tardies. Well worth it in their books though.

They would now have to focus together once more to survive no doubt the most dangerous operation of their career thus far. The lasers and torpedos would not just make the fighter shut down, they would be turned into space dust! A passenger count of 22 pilots filled the hold. Each strapped in gray EH Trainee flightgear, also a way of saving credits as they were the bare minimum, they each had their own way of dealing with the stress of this situation. Some were clown, and tried to joke around to keep morale up. Others were silent and repressed their fear and excitement, while others were jittery and constantly moving or making some kind of noise, a few even prayed for their lives. It was not as enthusiastic and organized as the training operations. Aticus himself was nervous but kept his cool knowing that if he did go, it would take only a split second. His co-pilot was not so nervous. She had a lot of confidence not only in herself, but in Aticus. Knowing their lust had turned into love and that Aticus would be her wing and vice versa till the end.

Half way to the Navbouy a Jump Notice alerted to the PLT Daedalus and all of the shuttles, signaling multiple craft coming in. The signatures instantly lit up red, alerting as Alliance warcraft. Daedulus was at current, nearly defenseless. With only two flights of experience fighter pilots and a handful of rookies that barely knew how to turn a perfect circle - the Daedalus was in immediate danger. Two Squadrons of Y-Wings, and one squadron of X-Wings were closing in on the platform at full speed. Aticus knew there was no choice, there was no time to dock and let the other pilots grab the TIEs, they would have to face these pilots with a full squadron of the new Advanced Escort Shuttles. Aticus notified Daedulus of the advance on the incoming threat and to launch remaining experienced pilots on Daedulus to take defense flight around Daedulus to eliminate anything that got through their assault. All twelve shuttles turned and advanced in a W formation, running at nearly 289 the entire time with still more throttle to go. Their handling was extrodinary even at this speed. The X-Wings had detected the incoming squdaron and moved to intercept them. This allowed a decent distraction for the I.W.A.T.S trainers to take flight.

Upon missile range, each of the shuttles were locked onto and the X-Wings fired their missles at the shuttles. Aticus had taken the Squadron leader position, and began giving the commands. He ordered his sqaudron to hold for fla a cork bob evasion. This tactic could only be done with a fighter that had a very high rate of acceleration, these craft were most of the time custom made. The new shuttles had more than enough thrust power to perform the manueber. The entire squadron slowed to 97 and awaited the missles to come in close range. Once in the entire squadron dived then popped back up behind the missles before the missles had time to dive and hit them. On their way back up the shuttles casted a massive spray of lasers with the six cannons.

Imperial Pilots,

The Ambiro Viking Bandit Fleet have long been a thorn in the side of our fleet. They are but mostly a headache at worst, but their recent attacks have actually resulted in some costly investments of the Fleet Commanders going down the drain. We will be dealing them a blow back. It is quite obvious that their forces are formiddably large, but very few even hold a match to what our pilots have to offer. Their forces are mostly flying targets for our men if an all out war ever did happen, but Grand Admiral Ronin is not a man of blood and war. However he can not allow these senseless pirate raids on our fleet to continue, thus he has called us in. The TIE Corps, the elite fighter pilots of the Emperor's Hammer Strike Fleet. We appreciate the efforts of this Special Wing being assembled, built up of Slayer Squadron, Sword, and Alpha squadrons. We here at TC Command thank you for your bravery and eagerness to strike back for the fourty four lives lost to these ignorant hetheans.

Each Squadron will have a specific role here, and our window on this will be short. One of the King Baron Firehand's sons, Prince Arka has developed a habitual route through one of our outer most territories. Ronin has ordered we do all operations in our own territory, that we are NOT to proceed to the pirate's territories. By doing this we stand within not only Imperial, but New Republic standards - this way the pirate scum cant run to the Republic for back up on this. The prince will be traveling through the territory in the upcoming day around 2240hrs. The area that the prince chooses to travel through is an abandoned storage area. Had it not been for survellience satallities picking up chatter signals from his ships we may have never detected him. As mentioned each squadron will have a specific role. == History ==

Horus Blackheart was born on Carrida II to Tiber Blackheart and Elana Blackheart. Both former Stormtroopers of the Galactic Empire, they were no parents but warriors. They gave their son the best life they knew, and they gave Horus to the Galactic Empire. He was trained in an Imperial lifestyle from birth, in a secret program the Emperor himself had created to create the perfectly loyal Stormtroopers and TIE Pilots that filled the empire at that point in time. Horus was an impressive fighter with a blaster, but he was beyond average fighter pilot at the age of 14. An incident where the Frigate Horus was living on came under attack was just the opportunity that Horus needed to prove himself to the Empire. At this point in time the Emperor had just died and the Empire was beginning to split apart in different factions. His Frigate chose to remain with the primary branch of the Empire when it's fleet decided to split away into its own faction, the Imperial Remenant! The Remenant fleet knew that the loyal officers on the Frigate would one day be used to hunt them down and kill them should the Empire reform, so they wanted to eliminate the threat before it had a chance to attack.

The VSD-I Rion's Rage was sent to destroy the FRG Gardia Noplexa, and was nearly successful. The primary two waves of fighter pilots had been eliminated, the Frigate had been disabled and stormtroopers were on their way to eliminate everyone. The ship began evacuating all of the residents onboard under the age of 18, bt instead of boarding an evac-shuttle, Horus took the final TIE Advanced and flew head on to the VSD-I Rions Rage. Under some odd form of possession the young boy managed to destroy all four of the boarding craft sent to the FRG, and eliminate three TIE Fighters before advancing to take on the Rion's Rage. The young boy was brave, but foolish. The VSD tore through his shields and hull in eight well placed shots, which caused him to crash land into the hangar of the rions rage. Even with a disabled T/A Horus kept fighting, firing on the blast doors of the vessel, firing on random bombers and fighters, destroying everything in his path as his TIE Advanced slid through the hangar until finally it came to a stop. He was now surrounded however, and death was well on its way with each additional clad white stormtrooper that surrounded his crashed fighter.

The remenant's VSD was now unable to launch fighters or boarding craft, and would be forced to retreat from its mission - but it meant Horus would be losing his life this day, or so he thought. The FRG Gardia Noplexa had sent out a distress signal but recieved no response. This was because the Remenant fleet used the same channels, and would have heard of back up coming in. The Emperor's Hammer Strike Group had recieved the signal and sent a welcomed rearmament of the SSD Avenger, VSD-II Warhammer, and the M/CRV group Antaganizer. The small task force surrounded the battle field, blocking both parties from escape. After assessment the Emperor's Hammer notified the VSD-I Rion's Rage to prepare for boarding. The SSD Avenger then disabled the Rion's Rage to prevent any escape attempt. Still inside the hangar, locked inside the hull of the TIE Advanced was Horus. The EH had no idea that the young man was on the Rion's Rage, and should the vessel show agression he would be destroyed in a quick and efficient clean up strike from the SSD Avenger.

Once the EH Hammer's Fist stormtroopers boarded the Rion's Rage, the remenant troops immediately surrendered. The troopers of the HF had to cut Horus out of the cockpit of the TIE Advanced, for some unknown reason the hatch had pressurized itself so hard that it bonded itself to the durasteel framing of the cockpit. The boy was apprehended at first, but later named a hero of the Empire and taken as a serious candidate for elite fighter pilot training. It took some time, but after three weeks of argueing with the current COMPNOR leadership, Horus was dispatched from the program he was in to take part in the Elite Fighter Candidate Program being given at an academy called I.W.A.T.S. This stood for Imperia Weapons And Tactics School, and it was being taught inside of the same fleet that rescued him prior. Eagerly Horus agreed to take part in the program, and was shipped out from the FRG Gardia Noplexa to the SSD Avenger for transport to the M/PLT Daedulas. Onboard he was introduced to some of the major operators of the fleet, including (at this point in time) Fleet Admiral Stephan Ronin. The chiss fleet commander was recently appointed by Palpatine before his death and was not far from earning his next promotion to High Admiral for his exploits throughout the outerrim.

The Fleet Commander was amazed at the tale of Horus piloting a TIE Advanced with only minimal flight training, and the fact he took down 4 Stormtrooper Transports, and two TIE Fighters before wrecking the hangar of a VSD-I was an unheard of feat, perhaps one of his most famous to this day. Naturally Ronin saw the boys force abilities at this time, and knew it would not be long before plans for his own fleet to separate would be placed into action. Now that he had one of Palpatine's "perfect soldiers" he surely had a great asset to his team. Once the fleet arrived at IWATS, Horus was bid a final farewell from Ronin, with a promise of a Flight Leader position being available in any Squadron of his choice in the TIE Corps. It would not be a TIE that Horus would be piloting for a majority of his career though, it was a T-95 X-Wing. During his training at the EFCP at IWATS, he was taught to pilot nearly all enemy starfighters and space craft up to support class vessels like Corvettes, and even Frigates. Now a fresh Lieutenant out of training, Horus was immediately approached by a new elite division developed to destroy the New Republic from within. Sending Imperial Pilots into battle using alliance craft, and also sending them on long term spy missions under cover as rebel pilots. This was right up the mans ally. Horus thought it over and agreed to join up with the newly develped Infiltrator Wing.

The IW as it was called, was originally its own developed unit outside of the TIE Corps - but before its closing it was intergrated into the TIE Corps as an actual wing. It had an IWCOM in place of the TCCOM, and it also had its own Command Staff to match the TIE Corps. It was quite an operation for some time. Horus had been assigned to Eagle Squadron, and elite X-Wing unit under the command of Captain Talon Jade, and his Executive Officer Commander Aticus Jade. This is where Horus met the two men that he would serve among for almost the rest of his career. Eagle was an Assault & Space Pacification unit - but they were the most saught after for Escort, Recon, Defense, and expecially ship capture. Eagle Squadron was capable of doing with X-Wings, what entire Wings of TIE Fighters could not. The results spoke for themselves when the success rate of Eagle Squadron exceeded that of the TIE Corps own Elite Squadrons at the time, though this was never "officialy" noted on, as the IW was seen as an underling unit to the TIE Corps and the thought of a standard IW Squadron outperforming the Elite Squadrons was quite outrageous.

After quite some service time with Eagle Squadron, Horus eventually retired once his two close friends Talon and Aticus had also moved on from the Infiltrator Wing to explore other paths in their career. Horus thought for a few weeks about retiring, that was until an envoy of the Sith High Commander came to visit Horus. He informed the young man of the Dark Brotherhood, and the possiblities he could explore as a Sith pilot rather than just a fighter pilot to the Empire. He could begin fighting for his own beliefs then, and explore a power he never new he had. This offer was outlandish to Horus at first, and he thought the man a traitor - so he killed him. When the envoy did not return, and the Sith High Warrior heard word of Horus's actions he was even more eager to have the man on his side. He personally travelled to Horus with an entire Wing of his elite Sith Fighter pilots, proving to him that the Sith were real, and told him that he could be an elite just like the men that stood before him. He also demonstrated some of the powers of the Sith to Horus, some even capable of taking the lives of those you face using only your mind. It was an incredible magic to him, but one he felt familiar with some how. Out of desire to become the greatest, Horus accepted - and he was immediately transferred to the SSD Avenger for service in the Dark Brotherhood's fighter squadrons.

Horus is strict, and down to earth. Being raised by the Galactic Empire, he has much to desire in a sense of humor - but makes up for it in skill and dedication. The man has been an expert tactition and intelligence agent, an ace star fighter pilot, and a determined Sith.

Secretly during this time Aticus was flying missions with Demon Squadron, a unit of House Archanis of Clan Taldryan. After thirteen years of continued superior and dedicated service as a pilot Aticus finally earned his next step in the fleet - command of his own ship as a Commodore, but he was not expecting it to be an MC-90! The Warspite was her name and Aticus had earned the reputation of a powerful warrior and cunning Squadron Commander, previously a pilot in the Infiltrator Wing in the legendary Eagle Squadron. Much of the data post of Aticus's command of the Warspite is lost or destroyed, believed due to the exodus of the Brotherhood. In fact, only more recently have records of Aticus Jade been recorded. There are mixed rumors of what happened to Aticus, and the MC-90 Warspite. Some say that the ship was destroyed but Aticus escaped to serve in the Intelligence division as an agent, while others say that he and his brothers stole the vessel and fled to the New Republic's 5th Fleet. Despite the accusations the career of Aticus Jade has not been shaken at all. == The Start of an Imperial Legend ==

The Galactic Empire is a deep, vast dynasty with more roots than anyone could hope to pull clean. Upon the death of the Emperor, our Empire was divided between Palpatine's most trusted Grand Admiral's and Grand Moffs. In the following 5 years these privately owned territories began to call themselves their own faction with a name. The Second Imperium, the Imperial Order, ours became known as the Emperor's Hammer Strike Fleet. Next to Thrawn, Ronin was granted command of the second largest fleet in the Empire by Emperor Palpatine himself. At this point in time Aticus was possibly 12, or 13. He had followed the career of Grand Admiral Ronin closely, given the fact that his father was a fighter pilot under his command when he was but only a Captain Stephan Ronin, Commander of Dragon Squadron. Aticus became Ronin's biggest fan when his father told him of a time that Ronin saved him from sure death. The tale was that Angeal(Aticus's father) was captured by slave traders and back at this point in time, Imperial Officers were sold at a high price to Rebel Intelligence. Ronin entered the bid as a buyer, using the stolen credit card of a black market merchant he had just killed. He purchased Commander Angeal Jade for a price of 7000 credits, but before their escape there was a fight. The men had discovered the body of Juliu Pelboa, the merchant Ronin had killed, and then found his card on Ronin. Using a mysterious power that Angeal had never seen before, Ronin choked the life out of 12 men at one time. On the way back Angeal thanked Ronin for his rescue, at which time Ronin revealed that it was because he had already given the Empire a prize that paid off all debt. Angeal was not sure what he meant, but always had a feeling he spoke of Aticus. This was true, Ronin had yet to meet the child of his squad mate, but he knew his future well. This was a point in time before the Dark Jedi populated the Empire's territories, and Bane's rule of two was still in effect thus Ronin's identity as a Sith was well hidden, trusting only in a handful that they never speak of what they saw.

Growing up to such a story was why Aticus was always dire loyal to Ronin, even after he resigned as Fleet Commander. At the age of 14 however, Aticus had thought for sure his dreams of becoming a star fighter pilot to fight along side with Ronin was crashed and ruined. Word of Palpatine's death reached all over the Imperial territories. The second Death Star was destroyed and both the Emperor and Lord Vader were dead. Aticus knew this was the end of the Galactic Empire, and this was the end of any dream he may have had in fighting along side of his hero. Little did he know, he had lost the second hero in his life. His father had recently been appointed to the position of Flight Leader of the 2nd Flight in Palpatine's Will Squadron - the Emperor's personal defense squadron. The appointment had been made based on Grand Admiral Stephan Ronin's suggestion, but it was not in design of Ronin's plan that Aticus's father died - he too lost a very close friend that day. It was a few days after the death of the Emperor that Ronin and Aticus met for the first, but definantly not the last time. At his father's funeral Ronin called Aticus over. The Grand Admiral placed a hand on the young boys shoulder and told him. "Finish with your college, then come take your fathers role in my Navy. I will be awaiting your application, as its already approved Lieutenant.." This was an overwhelming moment for Aticus, and as such he did not know how to react. It was also the moment that his heart plunged into the dark side, and Ronin could feel it. He knew just how powerful of an asset he had aquired through the death of one of the Empire's finest pilots. It would take time, but it was time he had. For the following 4 years Aticus first finished High School at Gella Mova High School on Coruscant, then he attended the Imperial University, Palpatine Campus on Coruscant for 4 years to receive his first degree, a degree in Imperial Law.

== A Dream Come True ==

Fresh out of college, Aticus knew he had but one goal and that was to become a fighter pilot like his fater and destroy the rebel terrorist that had killed his father. His hatered motivated him, his loss focused him, and his pain completed his determination to become the finest Ronin had ever seen. Just like Ronin had promised, Aticus's application was accepted within three hours of its receipt - ordered approved directly from the Fleet Commander's office. This did not effect his training however, just like all of the fleet's pilots Aticus underwent a year of hell. A TIE pilots training is largely unknown outside of the TIE Corps - but just like Stormtrooper training it is both physically and mentally over demanding at the least. Aticus went through a different form of training than what most pilots of current go through. Back then the pilots of the fleet did have simulators, but with Ronin being Sith and wanting only the best the TIE Corps had a three phase training program. White, Blue, and Black phases were a three step process to quickly yet efficiently train and get pilots flying, as the Empire was currently battling the New Republic in nearly all fields of battle, and the EH needed well trained vets out of basic, not rookies. The final phase of this program was known Black by the Empire, but "Suicide Phase" for the pilots. This was the pilots first and often final flight in a TIE Fighter, as it was conducted in a real battle..

== History ==

The early Karanans knew nothing of Kaiburr per se, though their myths provided that objects more distant from their homeworld were higher in the supernatural order. The gods had to live somewhere. When a small group of Dark Jedi arrived in the system sometime around 3400 BBY they exploited this belief in order to rule the primitives from afar. Their full reasoning may never be known, but it is likely they chose to settle Kaiburr to bask in the dark energies of its ancient cataclysm, for easy access to the local crystal supply, and to extend the range of their sensors out of the system. Their philosophy was apparently similar to the modern [[Obelisk]], though it should be noted that there is no evidence of a connection to the students of Alaiedon.

They built a citadel on their chosen capital planet using slave labor, a position they would leave mysteriously a short time after its completion. The transported Karanans failed to survive this abandonment, their indignation at what they then knew to be false gods still evident in the vandalism done to the ruins. It would take Karanan science nearly a thousand years to discover the planet again.

The Emperor’s Hammer refurbished the ancient mine, recently exhausting the supply of low quality lightsaber crystals there that had once sustained the Dark Jedi of old. Although not as efficient as Adegans and requiring replacement every 1-2 months due to their inherently unstable structure, these crystals are far more efficient than the artificial crystals commonly in use following the Battle of Endor. In addition, their power output and ease of focusing emulate the desirable natural Adegan Crystals.

The planet served as the home of Clan Taldryan’s Obelisk House, House Dinaari, which spitefully carted off much of the Hammer’s remaining crystal supply during the Exodus. The planet now lies uninhabited save for a small survey and excavation force.

Kaiburr is also home to the Obelisk Order's former home. It was a giant obelisk for the obelisk order. At this time, Kaiburr is the houses the Obelisk campus of the Shadow Academy as well.

== The Opan Mining Colony ==

Originally founded by the Emperor's Hammer, the Opan Mining Colony is now mostly owned by the three mining companies there. There is aproximately 120 miners and staff present at the Opan Colony. It is managed and run like a separate city state, which though illegal has been largely ignored by the Empire until recent. The colony lies three miles south of the exhausted Adega Mines, and is under the command of a corporate tribunal of CEO Kyshh Somoara, CEO Zin Suuka, and CEO Jim Wel'Da. Of the three the only Imperial is Wel'Da, the other two CEOs are of Karanan decent, and believe in a separate operation from the Empire - despite the fact the territory is already property of the Empire. Recent problems had started up from this, and even a few acts of violence towards local Stormtroopers has been reported. The EH has already increased security for Imperial officials in the area, and negotiations have been started to solve this peacefully. In the meantime, the fleet has allowed the Colony to govern itself so long as it recognizes Imperial officials "above the law" of their city state. The Opan mining colony controls most access to the Kaiburr Crystal Mines, and has added a small taxation to anyone outside of a Fleet Official's order who mines the crystals for sale to the Empire.

Opan is divided into five major constructions. The first is the consiare station and reception center for all visitors and new minors. The facility decends downwards into a canyon on the planet with the second unit being the motel, restruants, and park. A tunnel within the side of the canyon leads down to the third installment which is the most massive of any of the units, the market square. Here is where all the trade and diplomacy of the community was done. There is also a sigificant amount of crime in this sector, but the Opan Guard does its best to handle all of the community problems without informing the Empire. The fifth and final depart ment of the installation is up higher than the fourth. This is the three offices of each CEO, and the resident quarters of the miners that live there. It is also the office of the Opan Guard, the police force for the mining colony. There is a tunnel that leads directly from this sector to the Kaiburr Crystal Mines, but its access is controlled directly by the three CEOs..

The position of Fleet Logistics Officer and its adjoined office has been around since the start of the Emperor's Hammer Strike Fleet in 04ABY (DEC 1995) making it not only one of the fleets oldest positions but also making the position a key part in the Fleet Command Staff. There is no actual record of who was the "First" Logistics Officer of the Fleet, but earliest records indicate that Fleet Admiral Brett is the closest to that as one can get, and possibly is the first Logistics Officer. The position itself is a vital one, tasked with the duties of research and compilation of Fleet Records, Archiving all records of the fleet in appropriate places, maintaining the Fleet Wiki, and often working as the Fleets Chief Historian. The position was original CS-11 but since the recent changes it has become a Sub-UnRamit of the Internet Office, making it CS-4B until further altered. As time has progressed over the years the position's duties applied have dramatically changed, aside from being the Fleet's primary archivest of records. This job once very difficult to maintain, but with the assistance of the Wiki this task has now been cut in half. The Logistics Officer is a CS position requiring a minimum rank of Rear Admiral to service the position, and other prerequisits which often change with the fleet's demands. Though many would consider that the Logistics Officer is strictly paper pushing, they are actually quite wrong. The Logistics Officer and adjoined staff are often found constantly traveling the Fleet Territories, and galaxy at whole in pursuite of powerful knowledges and artifacts for the Emperor's Hammer Strike Fleet.
