==Description==
Rak is usually described as a well mannered and gentle, or atleast gentle for a Krath Assassin. Once engaged in combat or when he needs to extract information he becomes cold hearted and sadistic.

===Mental Description===
Rak quick to anger which is quite normal for his species though he will not draw his blade unless he intends to kill with it. However he has no qualms beating people to a bloody pulp if they argue with him.

He has a completely irrational fear of Ewoks and Jawas.

Rak is intensely fascinated by Twileks, Togruta, Natuolans and the like and holds a great deal of romantic interest towards the females of their species.

Rak exceptionally protective of women after the death of his first wife, a Twi’lek named Lyn Gella because of this he will never accept a contract on a woman and if he finds out that a contract has been taken he will intercept the bounty hunter or assassin. He is a quick witted methodical killer and will pursue his foes relentlessly.

Exudes confidence when he is in company, he has a powerful presence about him from being raised to be an elite member of society. He will always look someone in the eye when he talks to them, will not boast or threaten and always honours his word.

===Physical Description===

Rak stands at a massive 2.4 metres tall and weighs around 100Kg. He has jet black skin apart from some light white mottling on his tendrils and a white V from his eyes to his chin. He has no nose which is standard for his species and also gives him a slight natural resistance to gas attacks. He is considerably weaker than other members of his race but is still substantially stronger than a human. Because of his physical weakness he has trained himself to become faster using his speed rather than physical strength. He is exhausted quite easily if forced into physical exertion for an extended period because of a strange debilitating illness. He has a faint smokey smell. Walks tall and proud and has a sqagger.

Is incredibly allergic to all riding animals.

Has an irrational fear of Ewoks, Jawas and other small humanoids.

Is an alcoholic who always drinks corellian whiskey.

Due to his years of smuggling Rak has picked up numerous languages.

He can fluently speak Feeorin, Galactic Basic (with a coruscanti accent) and Twi'leki.

He can understand Huttese and a few other languages commonly used by smugglers but not enough to be able to speak them just enough to get a vague idea of what they are talking about.

==History==

===Before the Brotherhood===
Rak was born to Rojak and Selm when they were approximately 200 years old. His parents were dignitaries for the Galactic Senate. They did not have much time to raise Rak and left him in the care of various house staff. Because he was the son of diplomats he did not go to school, but rather tutors came to his parents Coruscant Residence and taught him. Most of the house staff were Feeorin because Rak’s father Rojak did not trust non Feeorin to raise his son properly.

There were a few other Feeorin children in the house and over the first 50 years of his life he developed a close friendship with Flor and Nolm. They became his childhood friends. At Rak’s request Flor and Nolm were taught about etiquette with him and taught how to fit into the Upper Class society in Coruscant.

Rak was taught various skills from diplomacy, piloting skills, hand-to-hand combat and how to use blaster weapons as soon became exceptionally proficient. The rest of his childhood rather uneventful. Just before his 77th birthday his parents were kidnapped by political activists demanding that trade laws be loosened across the galaxy. Rak knew that this would never be happened and as such was not surprised when the activists executed his parents. Seeking the aid of Flor and Nolm, Rak decided to hunt down the activists. Using the vast wealth that his parents had left him he pursued numerous sources of information and finally tracked them to the under city in Coruscant. He went down with Flor and Nolm to confront them, finding that the activists had no remorse for killing his parents he drew a blaster, killing all five of them in the fire fight, however both his friends Flor and Nolm were killed in the fighting. Angry he stormed back to his parent’s residence and isolated himself for years, vowing to never become emotionally attached to anyone ever again. After nearly a decade of isolation Rak on a whim bought an estate on Corellia.

===Corellia===

Leave the estate on Coruscant under the care of the house staff and several bodyguards he hired, Rak moved to Corellia, where he started drinking heavily and after a short while he sunk into a world of alcoholism, finding himself in bar fights ever other night. This continued for a year until he met a beautiful young twi’lek named Lyn Gella. She managed to convince him to stop drinking and they became romantically involved. After a few years they planned to marry, and they went out for a night on the town. It was a fateful evening for Rak as one of the men who he had badly beaten in a bar fight years earlier had taken great offense and taken a contract out on his life. The assassin pulled a blaster and shot at him missing Rak and instead hit Lyn in the chest, killing her instantly, this sent Rak into a murderous rage and also revealed his latent force powers, he grabbed a chair and attacked the assassin beating him to death, all the while sending chairs and tables flying across the bar. Knowing that the authorities were looking for him he sold both his residences on Coruscant and Corellia and moved to Myrkr. Spending a further 20 or so years in exile he drank on and off, sometimes drinking for a week straight, othertimes, not drinking at all. Sometime during his 100th year he was struck down by a mystery illness, that no one on Myrkr could identify. For 50 years he searched for a cure and none could be found.

===Bounty Hunter and Assassin===

Deciding that he was going to die, he left his estate, determined to become a bounty hunter and assassin, thinking that he would be able to die honourably in combat. After years of travelling, and killing or capturing hundreds of marks, Rak took a leave of absence from the assassin and bounty hunter guilds to join the fight against the Rebel Alliance in support of the Galactic Empire, which had given him so much. Being refused entry to the Imperial Army and Stromtrooper Corps, Rak joined the First Sun Mobile Regiment, a Mercenary group that was contracted out the Galactic Empire.

===The Empire and the First Sun Mobile Regiment===

He was nearly 175 at this time, and served with honour, again using his considerable resources to track down various rebel strongholds eventually finding himself promoted to the rank of Colonel within the mercenary group. Continuing to fight with them through the Galactic Civil War he left when Moff Nile Owen killed an entire company.

===Meeting Myn Donos===

After leaving he was struck down again by his mystery illness and travelled the galaxy for several more years. In 19ABY he heard of a rumour that there may be a cure on the Planet Thor in the Phare system. Travelling there he met a young governor of the Directorate named [[Myn Donos]], who helped him seek out the doctor he was looking for. Unfortunately the doctor was of no use to Rak, but it turned out that [[Myn Donos|Myn]] was a member of the Dark Brotherhood and suggested that Rak join them to try and train his latent force abilities. This started a firm friendship between the two, which still goes strong till the present day.

===The Dark Brotherhood===

Rak rejoined the assassin’s guild taking on various missions for them over the years as he trained with the Dark Brotherhood studying the ways of the Krath order until he attained the rank of Jedi Hunter, finding that his particular skills lay in telekinesis and the ability to use the force to push and pull objects. Training furiously he developed his speed rather than his strength, realising that he would not be able maintain the same levels of endurance as the other Jedi because of his debilitating disease, he would have to rely on his speed and cunning to win fights.

==Possessions==

Rak has a huge amount of money saved in various banks on various worlds, his parents made millions of credits through their diplomatic duties and when they died he inherited them all. He also made vast amounts of money working as a bounty hunter and assassin over the years. He has a subcutaneous comlink inserted in his right hand.

===Clothing===

Rak has a very exclusive taste in clothes.

He usually wears loose black fitting woolen trousers, white woolen undertunic, black woolen over tunic, sullust leather tabard died black, Rancor hide boots and gloves died black and an ottegan silk cloak dyed dark purple (in reference to his Krath training) with armorweave through it.

===Armour===

Rak shuns the use of armour normally preferring to simply dodge an incoming attack. If he decides he does need to wear some he will wear a resized chest piece of stormtrooper armour under his over tunic.

His personal ship is a ''Firespray-31-class patrol'' and attack craft called ''Odryn’s Fire''. The ship was armed with two double laser cannons, 2 concussion missile launchers and an ion cannon. He also maintains several speeders and shuttles.

===Residences===

Rak maintains two residences, one on [[Thor]] and one on [[Myrkr]] he also maintains a room aboard the [[leviathan]].

===Bodyguards===

Has numerous highly trained bodyguards residing at his residences. He does not use any of them for his personal protection they are purely there to protect his property. With the exception of Memah his twi'lek bodyguard who resided at his residence on Myrkr, she was his favourite bodyguard and often acted as an advisor and consort.

===Childhood and Birth===

Kal Vau is a Mandalorian. He was born and raised on Coruscant by his Mother, Arla, and Father, Bralor. They were exiled from Mandalorian society when it was believed that they had betrayed their clan. As a result, Kal was brought up in hiding on Coruscant, although his parents continued to raise him as a Mandalorian child, teaching him the art of combat from a young age. Kal lost contact with his parents after his 13th Birthday, the went to the shops and never returned.

===Hammers Fist===

Kal sought a way to fight honourably as with all Manadlorians, and after doing various pieces of mercenary work from a young age, he found that there was very little honourable combat in the universe outside of the serveral armed forces groups. As a result, at the age of 19 he joined the Hammers Fist Legion. He passed the Imperial Officer Training Course, and was given command of Redemption Platoon. Pursuing his studies he proceeded to become proficient in Demolitions, Close Combat and Heavy Weapons, along with various levels of specialist stormtrooper training, knowing that one day he would want to join the special forces arm of the Hammers Fist.

Kal Vau stands at an imposing 190 cm tall, with a strong musuclar build, weighing around 90 kg, all of it muscle. Like most Mandalorians he is extremeliny intelligent and well versed in combat arts being trained for combat and endurance from early childhood. He has shoulder length light-brown hair which he usually wears in a clean pony-tail. His eyes are a mix of ice blue and grey, he has a squared off jaw and square shoulders.

Kal has served in a command position for 6 months this combined with his Mandalorian training means that he respects anyone in a position of command authority. He will not follow them blindly and is willing to sacrifice his life for the legion but he will not let his personal feelings about the commanding officers get in the way of a mission but is never afraid of voicing his opinions on missions to his superiors, whether they want him to or not. He is a career soldier and will never disobey a direct order unless it is a suicide mission or he has other orders that supercede the ones that he is given. He is not subtle and will often take the most direct approach to solving a situation, usually through the use of direction action or superior firepower. He is capable of thinking on his feet but is always willing to fall back on the advice of other officers or NCO's in the field but when he is pressed he will always fall back to the fastest loudest most effective method of solving his problems. He is known for his black morbid sense of humour and his brutal nature, as such he has earned himself the nickname Psycho. He is also known for being short-tempered and is often considered rude by other members of the Hammer's Fist but those who know him know that he doesnt mean it personally.

Kal has two personal sidearms, when he is on base he uses his personal DC-15s blaster. He upgraded the power slightly but it is essentially the same design as those used in the clone wars. When he is in the field he uses a DL-44 blaster pistol he keeps it in a sullustian leather thigh holster. He has 2 primrary weapons which he changes depending on his assignment, either an E-19 with an underslung concussion grenade launcher or a Korikar Dh-112 Sniper Rifle. He also keeps a a vibroblade just over a foot long on his left hip, he also keeps a vibroshiv on his utility belt. He also carries several conussions grenades and a small assortment of demolitions tools suitable for creating booby traps.

=Kal's Armour and Uniforms=
Kal's Standard Armour utilises the Urban Camoflague print as most of his units operations take place in urban environments. He wears the traditional Mandalorian kama with his armour and has a Mythosaur Skull painted on the back of his helmet. The armour is a slightly modified version of the airbone armour. Kal managed to convince the engineers to add macrobinoculars and a range finder to his helmet. The visors have been changed from the standard black to red.

CorSec attempted to raid the palatial mansion to save the nobles but they were apparently executed before the CorSec Officers could reach them.

Myn was always a social outcast, even amongst his friends he did not erally have anything in common with them. His earliest enjoyable memories are of those going hunting in the grounds of his parents estate for game, this included scavenger hawks, Dire-Cats, Bageraset and Vynocks. This is where he learned that he had a passion for hunting and where he learnt the patience that he would seen require to become a sniper in CorSec. At the Age of 15 Myn witnessed the cold blooded murder or an imperial officer just metres from a CorSec building. This helped to fuel his desire to serve his planet and the Empire. When he was 16 he dissapeared from his home for several months and was not heard from, when he returned his parents thought he seemed different but Myn would not tell them what happened. He was cloned during this time. No one knows whether the real Myn Donos came back to Corellia or whether it was one of the clones, but the Myn Donos that came back was more cruel, callous and vicious. When he joined CorSec at 18 His aptitude with all forms of weaponry and his brutal effectiveness at hand-to-hand combat led to him quickly being promoted to the rank of Lieutenant and moved into the Tactical response team where he learned to fly fighter craft and quickly became an accomplished sniper 'neutralising' atleast 40 targets in his 2 years as a sniper.

In his last week working for CorSec when he turned 20 he earned his bloodstripes. He saved his entire unit and the hostage that they were escorting from a building from six heavily armed thugs, he had to spend a week in bacta after the even though due to several broken bones from dropping off the building and from a blaster shot to his left shoulder and right thigh and a vibroblade stab to his right arm. Shortly after this he was discharged from CorSec and signed up for the Tie Corps to serve upon the ISD Intrepid and then the MCO80b Redemption.

Myn is a very self sufficient man, he is a loner who finds it very hard to trust people. He does not deal well with people which makes his job as a sniper much easier, he is not affected by a concious which most people are and this makes him a possible danger to his squad mates. He has a lot of respect for people in positions of authority and for those under his command, and he has a lot of respect for people who have served n CorSec or other security forces. He despises people who abuse their positions of power and will do anything short of disobeying a direct order to make them suffer.

Myn's former occupations include joining CorSec at 18, was seconded to the Tactical Response Team and age 19 and became one of their best snipers until he left at the age of 21. He was and still is considered one of the best snipers that CorSec has ever had. At 21 he signed up for the Tie Corps.

Myn believse that Empire is the only way to save the galaxy from the corruption that will be spread by the New Republic. He feels that the New Republic cannot be trusted with all of the power that it can gain from the universe and that the only way to ensure that there is no corruption is to install a new military government based around the system used by the Emperor almost a decade ago. Myn has great respect for the EH and the Empire and is willing to lay down his life for the the cause of the Empire which he devoutly believes in.

Myn wanted to join the EH to help avenge the death of an Imperial Officer on Corellia. He first served with CorSec to gain the skills that he would require to join the EH so he could serve the Empier and help bring order back to the galaxy. He is an accomplished sniper as is suited for active duty in a commando unit.

Myn is a crack shot with most forms of blaster weaponry and is classed as a marksman with almost every blaster rifle and sniper rifle in existence. He is very formidable in hand-to-hand combat.

His weapons of choice are the Merr-Sonn Treppus-2 Vibroblade for close combat, the Merr-Sonn M434 Death Hammer Advanced Blaster Pistol, due to its superior fire power and battlefield reliability and the Merr-Sonn SX-451 Heavy Sniper Rifle, he will occassionally use the SoroSuub EZ-Snap 48sR Sniper Blaster Rifle because it is easier to pack up and move with.
