'''Epsilon Squadron''' is a [[Squadron Objectives#Psychological Warfare|Psychological Warfare]] squadron assigned to [[Wing I]] on the [[Hammer|Imperial-II Class Star Destroyer Hammer]].

==History==
Epsilon Squadron is one of the first six squadrons created to house pilots in the Emperor's Hammer.

It was created in NL1 (12/24/1994), but was not activated until GN Steel was assigned as its commander in NL3 (01/06/1995).

Its initial role was that of a strike squadron with one flight each of TIE Defenders, TIE Advanceds, and TIE Bombers. At present, Epsilon is a Deep Strike squadron with a different starship setup consisting of two flights of TIE Defenders and a single flight using the Missile Boat MK.II.

It is not necessarily clear when the pilots of Epsilon developed the formula for '''[[Epsi-Cola]]''' - now a galaxy-wide famous beverage and the drink of choice for many sentient beings.

Squadron members of Epsilon are active gamers in a variety of club activities, with many of our pilots flying SP/PVP/PVE missions on a variety of game platforms. We also enjoy regular competitions such as trivia, crosswords, word searches and fiction competitions.

We strive to always make Epsilon a fun and relaxed squadron which supports a wide range of pilot interests, focused on our members enjoying their time in the EH.

==Recent Operational History==

Over the period of 31 ABY and 32 ABY [[Epsilon Squadron]] has been on almost constant combat alert and has served in all of the major engagements of the Emperor's Hammer fleet.

The squadron was heavily engaged during the early recon missions against the [[Ishtari]] and lost a number of pilots to this race of militant insectoids. tracking this species to Assurian Halo, the squadron aided the fleet and participated in a number of key ground and space engagements during a month long campaign, during which Epsilon Squadron pilots '''CPT Jayden Halcorr''' and '''LCM Gian Webb''' showed notable courage, often flying back-to-back missions to support the rest of the squadron.

Following the neutralisation of the Ishtari (31 ABY), the depleted squadron was able to repair and refit its craft and allow for some brief respite for its pilots. It was during this time that squadron commander, [[Nova Discordia]] requested that the mythical origins of popular squadron drink [[Epsi-Cola]] be researched which resulted in the information discovered by '''LCM Gian Webb'' entitled [[Legend of Valin Tusk]].

Repairs completed, the squadron moved with its command ship the ISD [[Hammer]] further into the Unknown Regions and is currently taking part in a number of engagements in the '''Tkon Rift'''.

''CMDR Nova Discordia saluted Rear Admiral Genie as he arrived in the Epsilon squadron mess. A number of pilots were enjoying the various diversions they had managed to smuggle on-board or stash somewhere on the ISD Hammer.''

==Career and Background==
General Ric Hunter began his life in Wildspace at an Imperial outpost. His father was a career Republic Navy officer named Captain Maxwwal Hunter, who had served during the Clone Wars. After the Great Jedi Purge and the end of the war, he was sent to serve with a newly formed Imperial task force to map out the region of space known as the Unknown Regions. His taskforce was attached to a Chiss task force and together they explored the region.

It was there that Maxwwal met his future wife, Jurri'heshu'plenegu, a member of the Chiss taskforce. Since he was in command of a Arquitens-class light cruiser and she was a navigator with experience in the anomalies that were common in that part of space, they worked together quite often. It was inevitable that they became close and eventually married. The union produced three offspring with Ric being the oldest. He was followed by a sister named Brielle and a youngest brother named Aric. While Maxwwal continued to command, Jurri raised the children on an Imperial Outpost with the help of her sister.

Once the Ric was old enough, he went to a military academy on a Chiss Ascendency world. He never quite belonged due to his pale skin with only a hint of blue. The thing that mostly identified him as Chiss was his red eyes. He was the subject of bullying by many of his classmates until he finally succeeded in besting them in combat.

While his parents were exploring a dangerous system, their ship was caught in an ion storm and lost all power. The momentum of its flight caused it crash in a gas giant, killing all on board. Ric and his siblings were then sent to live with family on Corellia. Once he reached the age of seventeen, he entered the Imperial Flight Academy and became a TIE Fighter pilot. He was an accomplished pilot and was serving on a Star Destroyer under Grand Admiral Thrawn around Lothal until the Grand Admiral was lost and his remaining forces were dispersed to other ships after the fall of Lothal. Ric was serving on the Chimaera II during the battle. He had landed in the hanger bay to refuel and rearm his TIE Interceptor when the second Death Star exploded. The wave of death caused him to drop to his knees. He had always been a gifted pilot and it was here that he learned that he was a Force Sensitive was the reason why.

Ric got to his feet and found an Assault Gunboat that had just finished rearming and launched from the ship. He set course for Wildspace and made the jump to lightspeed, leaving Imperial Service behind.

Ric has 2 Tyderium class shuttles that were gifted to him by 2 different SDIRs for his service as Praetorian COmmander. He also owns an old YT-1300 freighter from his days between the service to the Empire and his joining the Emperors Hammer Strike Fleet.

==History==
The '''Intelligence Division''' is a Subgroup of the [[Emperor's Hammer|Emperor's Hammer Strike Fleet]]. We are the eyes and ears of the Hammer. The Intelligence Division keeps a close watch not only on the internal workings of the fleet, but also external threats. The individual Bureaus of the Intelligence Division perform anywhere from very basic operations to highly secret and critical functions for the Fleet. Such operations include, but are not limited to, infiltration, information gathering, assassination, political subterfuge, VIP escort, and naval security.

The Intelligence Division utilizes no specific game platform. Most of the operations and work that goes on within the Division is conducted using IRC, AIM, and other online venues. Given the nature of many of the Division operations, much of the information regarding the specific events that occur is kept classified. Agents must understand that the Intelligence Division is run on a "need to know" philosophy, that is, if the information isn't vital to your operation, chances are you will not be informed about it.
