Tyris was born on Orinda as the Son of two fairly high ranking Imperial Officers, the Moff Jacob Sal and the Navy Officer Rosmari Sal. He didn't see them often as they were dedicated to help the Empire out of its miserable state during that time. But when they were with him, they taught him about the Empire and how the New Republic was the true enemy, this was proven in 17 ABY. when the [https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/New_Republic New Republic] invaded Orinda. Fortunately Jacob Sal managed to flee [[Aurora Prime]] where Jacob & Rosmari Sal were integrated into the [[Emperor's Hammer]] Military.

In 21 ABY. something happened that changed Tyris entirely, his Mother Rosmari Sal, which by now had become a fairly high ranked Intelligence Officer, died under undisclosed circumstances. Tyris was at home when his Fathers Shuttle landed at their Apartment, he was surprised because it was too early for him to come home yet but he didn't suspect anything as he still was that naïve 9 year old boy. His Father sat down with him and straight up told Tyris, without showing any emotion, that his Mother had just died. Tyris was shocked, he didn't know what to say and just started crying, his Father did his best to calm him down but the damage was already dealt.

In the following years Tyris found a new passion, flying. At first he was too young to fly Fighters or similar so he started with speeders and similar and once he was old enough his Father suggested that he should join the Emperors Hammers TIE Corps. Tyris agreed and ended up joining the Imperial Weapons and Tactics School where he was trained to become a Pilot.

Once Tyris graduated from the [[IWATS]] he was assigned to [[Thunder Squadron]] aboard the [[Challenge]], unfortunately Tyris ended up injuring himself in his first days which led to him being knocked out for around 5 months. Tyris was about to be send to the reserve when he finally made his full recovery. He immediately began with his operations and successfully achieved 1 Victory after another while also completing the TCCORE exam. This led to his immediate promotion to [[Lieutenant]], Tyris was filled with pride and so was his Father which gave him a Chromium Pilot Armor.
