The Imperial-II Star Destroyer ''Warrior'' is home to TIE Corps [[Wing II]] and the flagship of Battlegroup II within the First Recon Division. The battlegroup is commanded by the [[Commodore]], currently [[Rear Admiral (TIE Corps)|Rear Admiral]] [[Zekk Terrik]].

==History==
===Construction and the Early Days: 8 BBY– 4 ABY===
The keel of the Imperial II-class Star Destroyer SD-KDY-42 was laid down at the Kuat Drive Yards in 8 BBY; one of sixteen ISD hulls that commenced construction in Batch Aleph-2 under then-Moff Tarkin’s expansion of the Navy’s destroyer fleet. Construction of SD-KDY-42 was completed in 16 BBY with shake-down trials completed the following year. In 5 BBY, SD-KDY-42 was officially named the ISD-II Warrior by Admiral Demetrius Zaarin, alongside the Thunderer, Implacable and Stalwart from the same Batch.

The Warrior’s first assignment was to Battlegroup Omar, under command of Captain Tobias Raya, where she performed protective duties of the system’s TIE fighter research and production facilities. Despite the rare pirate incursion and odd scouting mission into neighbouring systems, this would prove a largely uneventful tour for Captain Raya and the rest of the Battlegroup. The momentous, galaxy-shaking events taking place elsewhere Corewards passed by the Omar system with only holonet mentions of the destruction of the first Death Star at the hands of terrorist dissidents.

The relative calm of the system was shattered in 4 ABY, when turncoat Grand Admiral Zaarin – the same who named the Warrior, arrived in system with a fleet to destroy the TIE fighter production facilities. The Battlegroup was outnumbered and outmatched – Zaarin completely destroyed his targets, but not without taking losses. The ensuing fleet engagement saw the destruction of two destroyers, six medium hulls and numerous lighter craft. The Warrior itself did not escape unscathed, suffering heavy hull damage and a loss of over half its fighter and bomber complement. With Omar lost and the Battlegroup in tatters, the Warrior’s Captain gave the order for the ship to flee Corewards in the hope of salvation.

===New Galaxy Order: 4 ABY – 10 ABY===
It took four months for the Warrior to finally limp into the rings of the Kuat Drive Yards for much needed repair and reconstitution. But the Warrior came back to a changed galaxy. The Emperor was dead – slain, according to the rumours, by his own acolyte, the dread Darth Vader who himself then vanished in the aftermath of a second Death Star’s destruction.

The terrorists responsible for setting the galaxy aflame then schemed to set themselves up as the so-called New Republic, claiming authority over all free worlds. The Imperial fleet was in disarray, with Sector Admirals falling back to their own fiefdoms and enclaves. Other Imperial Admirals, sensing the impending chaos, grabbed what they could before setting themselves up as Warlords in their own right. Barely two weeks into a fraught repair schedule, the Warrior received orders to join Admiral Treuten Teradoc in the Centares system, the hub of the Maldrood sector where he was establishing his own dominion. Captain Raya refused, citing the lack of communication and confirmation of orders from high command on Imperial Centre. A day later, under the guise of a routine resupply shuttle, a squad of Stormtroopers boarded the Warrior, breached the ship’s command bridge and gunned down Raya. His XO, Commander Doon, promptly dropped docking anchors and set course for Centares.

On arrival in Centares, the Warrior was quickly absorbed into High Admiral Teradoc’s growing fleet. A new Captain was installed, Rear Admiral Kari Bosch and the hangars took delivery of new fighter craft including a complement of 12 TIE Advanced.

Teradoc promptly put Bosch to task; the Warrior spearheaded Teradoc’s expansion in the wider Maldrood Sector and saw action in numerous fleet engagements with Rebel forces attempting to bring the Warlord to heel. The most significant action took place in 5 ABY over the skies of Togoria, which had joined Teradoc’s Greater Maldrood the previous year. A large conquering Rebel force engaged the system defence fleet; the Warrior and accompanying fleet of four Destroyers was already en route to consolidate Teradoc’s grip on the system and emerged from hyperspace into a full-scale engagement already underway. The action lasted over 18 hours; both sides suffered horrific casualties. Two Star Destroyers were lost with all hands although the Warrior itself suffered only minor damage the loss of 27 fighters. The Rebels were driven off with a bloodied nose and Togoria was saved.

By 8 ABY, the growing rivalry with fellow Warlord, Grand Admiral Zsinj, had erupted into full-scale conflict and for the first time, the guns of the Warrior fired on fellow Imperials. High Admiral Teradoc was growing ever increasingly paranoid and Grand Admiral Thrawn’s failed push for Imperial reclamation in 9 ABY only spurred on Teradoc’s delusions of threat. Bosch, a native of the political power plays of Coruscant, began to grow concerned for the safety of his own position and crew.

===A New Hope: 10 - 29 ABY===
Unbeknownst to the squabbling Warlords of the Core, in the far reaches of the Outer Rim an Imperial Warlord had been slowly, quietly, consolidating his own power and authority; Grand Admiral Ronin. Headquartered in the Aurora System, Ronin had amassed a considerable powerbase of fleets and industrialised planets, staying above the bickering of the Imperial Remnant and keeping Palpatine’s new order alive.

In 10 ABY, High Admiral Kawolski was appointed as Executive Officer of Ronin’s Emperor’s Hammer Strike Fleet. Kawolski was an Imperial Academy classmate of Admiral Bosch. A message was sent to Bosch; it spoke of an opportunity to be part of something close to the Imperial glory of old, absent of politics and power struggles. Towards the close of that year, during a routine visit to one of Teradoc’s supplicant planets, the Warrior suffered a hyperdrive mishap and never emerged from hyperspace.

Bosch had made his play and transferred his loyalty and ship to Grand Admiral Ronin. The Warrior and her complement of crew and fighters was gladly received. Bosch’s first assigned was a lead Destroyer in Battlegroup V as part of the Auroran Homeguard. Not the most taxing of assignments, but Bosch and the ship needed time to develop trust on both sides.

In 18 ABY, the Strike Fleet underwent significant restructure. By now, Bosch had been promoted and made Moff of Hyperion System. Grand Admiral Ronin had retreated to the monastical life on Aurora and Grand Admiral now led the Fleet.
High Admiral Frodo March oversaw the reassignment of the Warrior to the First Recon Division’s Battlegroup II. With the move came a change to the ship’s fighter complement; Wing II now had a diverse range of craft to enable the Warrior’s new mission: Deep Space Depredation. These changes were not all without rancour. The Warrior’s crew had grown complacent with extended Homeguard duty and its new mission needed their edge sharpened. Admiral March, his tasking of overseeing the changes accomplished moved on, and Vice Admiral Plif took over reigns. In a bid to shake off the lethargy and regain the Warrior’s fighting spirit, the ship undertook several deep space offensive strikes against Rebel holdings. The Warrior performed beyond expectations and solidified its reputation as a hard-hitting ship with an exemplary crew.

Over the next few years, the Warrior produced a number of first-class commanding officers who went on to higher echelons within the Fleet, including future TIE Corps Commanders, Admirals Mitchell and Plif. In 29 ABY, freshly minted Rear Admiral Zekk Terrik, took command of the Warrior. Terrik, having proven himself as a ferocious pilot and CO of Sin Squadron, was tasked by Fleet Admiral Plif to bring the Warrior to the forefront of the Fleet’s expansion into the Unknown Regions.

'''The TIE Pilot Podcast''', a podcast/discussion show geared towards issues of interest towards members of the TIE Corps. Initially conceived by Sin Squadron members CM Jack Wynand and COL Zekk Terrik as an idea for a Star Wars themed cooking show (a couple small episodes were even made!), it eventually evolved into a podcast and discussion format show. Its first episode premiered on August 13, 2020 and underwent a brief hiatus after 7 episodes in January 2021 when CM Jack Wynand went to the Reserves due to real world obligations. He was replaced by GN Doyon of Beta Squadron in May 2021 when the show began airing again.

While his family initially struggled and failed to grow their business during the Old Republic due to overwhelming and inefficient bureaucracy, the Empire largely forced their (mostly non-human) competition out of Chandrila, enabling the family business to flourish. His parents have since passed of natural causes and his sister is managing the family business.

Because of the success the family experienced under Imperial rule, despite Imperial oppression of Chandrila, they were regarded as loyalists by the Imperial regime, and frequently bought all of the bacta from the family business they could.

==TIE Corps==
When Zekk came of adulthood, he traveled to the Outer Rim after hearing of the Emperor's Hammer. He wanted to serve the Empire that had been so good to his family, and the EH was the best equipped and most well organized of the remaining Imperial factions. He considers it his duty to restore the Empire to its rightful place in Coruscant and to put a new Emperor on the throne.

After completing starfighter training and officer candidate school, Zekk was assigned to [[Wing II]] aboard the flagship of the EH, the SSSD Sovereign where he served for some time, rising to the rank of [[Lieutenant Colonel (TIE Corps)|Lieutenant Colonel]] and commanding Theta Squadron.

During this time, he fell in love with a young woman who was an Imperial officer, Shayla Ludsorkim. They married and she became Shayla Terrik. They did not have children. During Zekk's leave of absence he remained in contact with his wife through long distance Imperial communique. However, during a routine transport between ships her patrol was attacked by Republic strike forces and her craft was boarded. She has not been seen since and is considered MIA.

He took a long leave of absence—nearly a decade—to return to Chandrila to care for his ailing parents. After their passing, his sister assumed control of the company, and Zekk returned to duty.

Zekk's immense skill at starfighter combat and piloting resulted in him being selected for Jedi training. He quickly became a disciple of the Dark Side, sensing its immense power would help him become a better pilot. For a time he was heavily involved in [[Dark Brotherhood]] activities and delved deeply into the Dark Side of the Force. He has become obsessed at trying to find his wife, also a trained Sith, through the Force. Zekk can no longer sense her through the Force and has assumed she has died.

Zekk's immersion in the Dark Side mellowed a bit over the years. As his rage and hatred over the loss of Shayla began to drain him, he began to believe that the Dark Side did not have all the answers. With the limited knowledge of the Light Side that the Dark Brotherhood had to provide, Zekk nonetheless began experimenting with the Light Side of the Force, using calmness and passivity to focus his skills over the years.

John T. Clark is the current [[Strategic Operations Officer]] in the [[TIE Corps]].

== Biography ==

Clark's family never was one of military heritage, even though his Grandfather Terrance Clark had been a fleet NCO in the old Republican Navy. His father Richard Terrance Clark, and his mother Sanilia Clark were operating a small shop selling all things of the daily need near one of Kuat's orbital shipyards. John's two elder brother's Michael Thomas and Anthony Marcus had decided on not work in the family business and had left Kuat to pursue their careers.

Especially Anthony was successful, and had managed to even get a loan to buy his own bulk transport to make a living as a resource merchant. Michael chose a different approach and was on university studying to be come a finance broker. So it more or less was on John to continue the family business after he had grown of age, and he was determined to do it. Then on a summer day when John was 15 it all changed. A group of men clad in Imperial Navy uniforms appeared in their shop to speak with John's mother. The news had been shocking.

Anthony's ship had been assaulted by members of the so called Rebel Alliance, and when he wasn't surrendering and leave his freight the ship had been boarded and all crewmen killed. On the day of Anthony's funeral John had a talk with his parents, disclosing that he wanted to join the Imperial Navy to avenge his brother's death. But they wouldn't agree, not even listen to his arguments, and thus John after a couple of weeks grudgingly accepted their verdict. Another couple of months passed and news of growing aggressiveness of the Rebels were frightening many people on and around Kuat. Then in 3 ABY the situation for the Clark's finally escalated. Michael had landed a small Job on Zaloriis, after having graduated with honours. But his job-site choosing couldn't have been worse. A small group of Rebels had started and uprising against the small Imperial Garrison force. Offended by this Michael decided to join a group of imperial army members to endow them with his help. But he didn't even manage to talk to them as they were all cut down by an explosives rigged speeder that blew up after driving right into the group.

Now John's mind was set firmly on the idea of joining up with the imperial forces. He couldn't wait to turn 18 to enlist. This time his parents couldn't convince him otherwise, and even as Imperial Center fell to the Rebels he joined a group of young man who had decided follow an enlistment call from the ISDII ''Colossus'' that just was in the system and planning to join one of the new imperial factions, this one lead by an Admiral Ronin.

Similar to the Lengendary Sith that also was born on Apatros, Kire was born impoverished and wanted more than anything to get off that small, desolate rock to explore that galaxy. This why he joined the TIE Corps as it helped him do just that as well as get him out of poverty and into a higher social ranking. Kire is from a lower class family of seven but with the help of whats left of the Empire that will not be for long. Growing up in a poor mining family always left Kire striving not only to better his life but also the rest of what is left of his immediate families. Kire's adulthood has just begun and hopes to make a name for himself in the TIE Corps. While working hard in the Cortosis mines, Kire watched a partial collapse of a tunnel kill both his Father as well as one of his older brothers.

==Overview==
Astatine was a former [[Fleet Commander]], [[Executive Officer]] and [[Training Officer]]. He was later expelled from the fleet.

==Biography==
Astatine was born into a middle class family on a mining colony. After completing his formal studies he worked a string of part time jobs. Sensing the shift in the Galactic Civil War and lacking the connections to progress in the Imperial forces, he joined the Rebellion just after the Battle of Hoth. During this time he was assigned to Green Squadron and had a tour of duty that was only extraordinary in its ordinariness. It was during this tour he came into contact with a female officer named Kusanagi, who would later defect and serve under him in IWATS.

Following the Battle of Endor, he joined the Emperor's Hammer, gaining assignment in Zayin squadron after training. Once again, his piloting skills proved mediocre. An opening at the Imperial Weapons and Tactics School ([[IWATS]]) provided an outlet for his true talents - training and administration. After impressing the [[Executive Officer]]'s Command Attache, Astatine was appointed to IWATS [[Dean]] and reformed the academy. During his rise, he rubbed a number of senior commanders the wrong way, resulting in a number of disciplinary actions including demotions.

It was also at this time he began dabbling in the Dark Side, eventually ascending to the level of [[Dark Jedi Primarch]].

After a two year term as [[Training Officer]], he was appointed [[Executive Officer]] and served in that role three years.

==TIE Corps==
Astatine joined the TIE Corps in February 1998 <ref>[http://www.ehtiecorps.org/rosters/histrecord.asp?record=693 TIE Corps historic record]</ref>. He was originally mis-assigned the name "Wolf" from his pilot file. He worked on a number of projects at this time, including a roster search engine and a squadron site for Zayin. On 4th April 1999, he was appointed Squadron Commander of Yod squadron (Wing IV), serving under LG [[Horn]]. The same week he was appointed an attache to IWATS Professor LG Tiger and promoted to [[Brigadier General]] (BG). In early May, he developed a squadron website for Yod squadron.

In late May, Astatine was appointed IWATS Dean and began a steady program of improvement, including the new [[IWATS Core]] course. In May 1999, he was appointed Training Officer<ref>[http://www.ehtiecorps.org/newsarchive.asp?month=5&year=1999 TIE Corps News]</ref>. The positions of Training Officer and IWATS Dean have been combined since then. In January 2002, he replaced [[Kawolski]] as Executive Officer and in January 2005 was appointed Fleet Commander<ref>[http://www.ehtiecorps.org/newsarchive.asp?month=12&year=2004 TIE Corps News]</ref>.

While IWATS Dean, he managed the IWATS Core, IIC and mIRC courses, with IWATS achieving over 10,000 graduates under his command<ref>[http://www.ehtiecorps.org/reports/report.asp?commandstaffid=6&reportid=3500 TO Report]</ref>. A number of competitions were run including [[TO Comp 5]]. The imperialacademy.org domain was also registered during this period and was used as a central hub for training resources. The hosting for this was funded by Astatine.

Since his appointment to Executive Officer, Astatine has also filled the role of Fleet Systems Engineer, maintaining the TIE Corps site and financing the hosting of it since 2005.

Awards of note include Gold Star, Imperial Cross (twice) and Medal of Honor.

==Subgroups==
In the Dark Brotherhood, Astatine served as Tetrarch in House Gladius (4/1998), Herald (1/1999) and Deputy Grand Master (3/2000, 3/2001, 11/2001). More recently he assumed the position of Seneschel, maintaining the Dark Brotherhood website. Specific work relating to this position included the porting of the TIE Corps for use by the Dark Brotherhood.

In the Infiltrator Wing, he held the positions of Squadron Commander (5/1998), Training Sergeant (6/1998) and Training Officer (7/1998). Achieved Colonel General (8/1998).

In the Hammer's Fist, he has held the positions of Commander of Security (8/1998) and Commander of Personnel (4/1999).

Join the Bounty Hunter's Guild in March 98. In June he joined Cyclone Cabal. In July, he was appointed SSL Roster keeper by [[Menalaus]], replacing [[Morganna]]. He served in this position for approximately six months.
