The claws are normally a bit bigger than his fingertips and do not interfere with daily tasks. In battle he makes use of his Clawdite talent to shapeshift to extend the length of the claws to allow them to serve as deadly weapons.

His fingers appear longer than average due to the talons on his fingertips. When attempting to disguise himself the shapeshifter will cover the talons and cybernetics. But the fingers will always appear longer than average, potentially giving away his disguise to a skilled observer.
