The Lieutenant Governor is the Executive Officer of their respective Planet and serves as the direct assistant to the Governor General. It is considered that incredibly active Regional Governor's will be appointed to this position before moving onto their own respective command to "learn the ropes." The minimum rank to be a Lieutenant Governor is the same as that of Regional Governor - Honorable.
