Executive Officer (HF)

XO/GS-2: The Executive Officer is primarily responsible for the development and implementation of new ideas in the Hammer's Fist, and maintains the HF roster. They handle all member placements in the Legion and processes transfer and assignments. He is also responsible for AWOL control. The XO has final authority on all promotion and award requests, save for those promotions and awards requiring the Prefect's approval. The XO is ranked as the second in command of the Legion, and as such assumes command of the Legion during the absence of the Prefect. The XO (sometimes denoted as "HF XO" to differentiate from the EH XO) is responsibile for overseeing the development and running of HF-wide operations and competitions. The XO is also responsible for the overall discipline of HF members at IRC meetings, on message boards, and in general. Minimum requirements for XO are those for achieving the rank of Brigadier General.
