.ZT files record the differences between an original and a modified compiled file, usable an executable. They were developped to patch the Z_TIE___.EXE file of TIE Fighter CD (hence .ZT), but will basically work on any file. You will need a tool like TIEPatch, ZT Patcher or TPWin to apply the patch file. .ZT files are made by using for example ZT Maker.

Alternative Extensions

• .OV: TIE Fighter Disk.
• .ZT: TIE Fighter CD and default extension for all other uses.
• .95: TIE Fighter '95.
• .114: X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter 1.14
• .BOP: Balance of Power
• .202: X-Wing Alliance 2.02
• .XOV: X-Wing (All versions)
