2DF

Template:EH Science Manual 2DF converts Windows 256 color BMP or PCX files to different Dark Forces, X-Wing and TIE Fighter files. Also assembles .LFD files. Comes together in a package with DF2, which converts them back again.

Notes[edit]
- File1 - BMP file
- File2 - .FME or .BM file.
- File2 - .PAL file
- If you omit File3 (PAL file), no palette conversion is performed
Switches[edit]
- /U - uncompressed (FME).
- /F - force .FME output
- /D - force DELT (.DLT) output
- /B - force .BM output
- /X - force PCX input
- /T - transparent (BM)
- /M - File1 is a makefile (see BMPDF.TXT and MAKEFILE.TXT)
- /L - allow to use light-in-the-dark colors in palette conversion
- /0=# - set color # a background (transparent) color in DELT and ANIM
- /S - solid bitmap - no transparent areas
