TIE Corps Career

Ghost Squadron, ISD Immortal (FM)

DV's first squadron assignment was Ghost Squadron aboard the ISD Immortal (Wing XI). This is the squad where he first met Coranel Both, who was Ghost Commander. Six months later however, the ship was decommissioned and the whole squadron was transferred to the ISD Challenge. DV had made Lieutenant Commander at this time.

Typhoon Squadron, ISD Challenge (FM-CMDR)

The whole Ghost roster was transferred to Typhoon Squadron aboard the ISD Challenge (Wing X). His commander Coranel Both continued for as CO for 3 months before resigning and transferring to the reserves (This isn't the last time we will hear from him however). On the recommendation of Coranel, Commodore Vice Admiral Locke Setzer offered DV to take command, which he enthusiastically accepted. He commanded the squadron for five months before transferring for a short stint in the reserves.

Feats included getting Typhoon Squadron to earn joint first place in the 2004 Exercise Cantina Run, a TIE Corps Battlegroups wide annual competition. DV was promoted to Captain at this point.

Avenger Elite Squadron, VSD Aggressor (FM-FM)

After a short stint in the reserves, DV was invited to the elite Avenger Squadron by General Nightmare in time for the annual Aggressor Strike Force Supremacy Comp (2004). He helped the twelve strong Avenger Squadron to win the title of ASF Escort Squadron, for gaining first place in the competition.

DV returned a second time to Avenger Squadron, where he was asked for a second time to help with ASF SC but the tour turned out to be a dull one. Neglect and inactivity had hit the squadron. And so he was quick to leave.

Inferno Squadron, ISD Challenge (CMDR-FM-FL-CMDR-FL)

This is the squadron in which DV advanced in his career. After his fist tour in Avenger, he was offered to take command of the then-inactive squadron Inferno Squadron, by now-Wing Commander Coranel Both. After his first month in command, DV was awarded his first Silver Star of the Empire by recommendation of the ChalCOM. He stayed in command of the squadron for eight months, where he led a fierce rivalry against the astonishing Cyclone Squadron (under the command of Katherine Cantor Flyer). During that time he went from Captain to Lieutenant Colonel.

He returned to command Inferno Squadron a second time, after his second short stint in Avenger Squadron. He did so for four months before stepping down due to real life issues, and taking over a flight leader position in the same squadron. He earned another Silver Star for this third commanding tour.

Praetorian Elite Squadron, DGN Lichtor V, Intelligence Division (FM-CMDR)

After remaining as a flight leader in Inferno, DV was invited to join the elite Intelligence squadron Praetorian by General Ric Taldrya. DV accepted and served as a FM for 6 months. Ric Taldrya then resigned to take up the position of Grand Master. Upon his departure, he offered his old position to DV which the latter keenly accepted. In Praetorian, DV has been mostly participating in inter club events lately. Feats in this department include winning the X-Wing Alliance Week of War five consecutive times. DV has also achieved the FCHG rank of Executor and earned two silver stars in this squadron. He has also been awarded the Praetorian Citation of Excellence, the highest unit award, for the creation of a squad video :video. DV is hoping to do much more in Praetorian, a squadron which has raised a homely feeling and a motivation in him which he had lost some time ago. His primary objective being to make sure the squadron keeps its elite status. He is also always looking for promising pilots with valuable skills in the regular TIE Corps to recruit to the Praetorian Brotherhood.
