Eos Shutle Droid

The Aurora Prime Spaceport Authority has jurisdiction over the spaceport located outside of New Imperial City, the planet's capital city. Operating many terminals and pilot or resident services, the Spaceport Authority sees much traffic and customers throughout each cycle. One of the lesser used services in the New Imperial City spaceport is the shuttle droid service to Eos.

Eos is Aurora Prime's moon, and is widely known to be home to the Secret Order (previously known as the Dark Brotherhood). The moon does not see much traffic from Aurora Prime, and especially not by those who do not have their own ship to make the trip.

The droid, despite being in generally a mediocre state of repair, one that features quite prominently a stutter and sparks from its neck, is well-versed in travel between the two celestial bodies. Access to Eos and specifically the Dark Hall landing zone is a carefully guarded and highly-militarized area, so providing the right codes and behaving in the right manner is critical to the success of the trip. The droid is capable of this and knows it, deeming itself invaluable to the success of both organizations it serves.

Some of its passengers describe the trip as "eerie" and "creepy," blaming the droid for constantly interjecting side remarks about how it will see the current shuttle passenger soon when it comes back to pick up its dead body from the front steps of the Dark Hall. Admittedly, it is quite right about this, which apparently makes it gain a sense of self-recognition as a mortuary assistant or something similar.

Biography

Early Life

Not much is known about the Shuttle Droid's early beginnings (or even current happenings, honestly). It is suspected to have been created during the Old Republic era, several years before the rise of the Empire. This is due to the general state of disrepair that the droid is in.
