Personal History[edit]

Prot Azar was born in 12 ABY on the planet of Corellia in a lower class family. From a young age, he was interested in mechanics and flying. He was thought the basics by his father, who served in the Galactic Civil War as a Lambda shuttle mechanic. As a young Corellian he enjoyed reading books and building models from scrap he collected on the street. All of his family, except his mother, worked in the nearby shipyard. It was a hard job, that took a toll on his life. In 30 ABY his father was killed in an shipyard accident. From this point on, he started hating Corellia and promised himself that he would escape from this planet.

The breaking point came in 33 ABY, when he was fired from the shipyard. He immediately went to the nearby recruitment office and applied for the Emperor's Hammer TIE Corps. After months of grueling training at the flight school, he was commissioned as a Sub-Lieutenant and assigned to Scorpion Squadron. Initially, he was not happy with this assignment. Prot didn't want to fly E-wings, TIE Defenders were his dream. Not long after, he was promoted to Lieutenant and got accustomed to his squadron. He was very happy when a Flight Leader spot opened in Delta Squadron and applied there immediately. There, he was able to fly his TIE Defender. But his happiness didn't last for long. His squadron was inactive and he decided to go back to Scorpion.

Now a Lieutenant Commander, he was appointed Flight Leader in Scorpion Squadron. He didn't have to wait long for a new opportunity - the Warfare Office opened its arms to new assistants. He decided to apply and was accepted along with Lieutenant Commander GamerRat. In the meantime, Prot Azar participated in Imperial Storm VII and recruited his childhood friend Thalios.

He was rapidly promoted to Commander, and later to Captain. Sadly he wasn't able to contribute much to the yearly Raise the Flag competition. He was fulfilled by his duties as Warfare Office Assistant. Although it was merely paperwork, he enjoyed it.

At the end of 34 ABY, he was appointed Squadron Executive Officer and awarded a Silver Star for his service to the Warfare Office. This marked the start of a period of lower activity due to frequent visits to the infirmary and trouble with his colleagues and superiors. He actively participated in Imperial Storm VIII. Now along with his squadron, he was getting ready for Squadron ReMobilisation 8.
