The Seneschal is a defunct position of the Dark Brotherhood.
The Seneschal was tasked with overseeing the day-to-day maintenance of the Dark Hall, taking personal charge of it in the absence of the Grand Master. His duties include the outstandingly essential service of maintaining & upgrading the Dark Brotherhood website. Any suggestions, comments, or upgrades regarding the website were to go through them.
