TIE Guardian

The TIE Guardian is an advanced Space Superiority interceptor that is used by Omega Elite Squadron. It uses a modified TIE Defender chassis with multiple modifications, additions, and changes. Originally commissioned by the Fleet Commander, very few copies were made by the Science Office, produced exclusively for the Fleet Commander's Escort Squadron, Omega. It features upgraded powerplants, shields, and sensors. Additional variants have the 2 ion cannons relocated from the upper wing pylons to chin-mounts.
