Talk:Exercise Cantina Run

I've done my best with this one.

Most sources are from the newsletters and reports available from the TIE Corps site proper (especially for the BGCOM reports) and reports available from the legacy isdchallenge.org home page. These do a decent job of containing details from ECR III - VII.

Information from ECR I and ECR II is scarce. I can verify the Immortal as the winner for ECR II from newsletters, but details on the comp itself are hard to come by. ECR I is even worse. I'm relying on memory for the winner there, the worst possible source.

Beyond newsletters and reports, a lot of additional data points do come from my own personal IRC logs. Also, I have an enormous amount of personal records and submissions from ECR V, since I was the one who organized that (until I didn't).

I have tried to be very fair with characterizations presented here, but obviously the first ECR IV was highly problematic. I acknowledge that my logs of the time are mostly from the perspective of people that had enormously negative feelings about the event.

I think there's still room for improvement on this one and will try to update it with additional details, should any future splunking turns up any additional details.
