Entry 01
Our admiral received a high-level encrypted transmission. The message contained only a set of coordinates and a single directive: Rendezvous — Unknown Regions. No sender was listed, yet the encryption matched an Imperial priority channel long thought abandoned. We followed the route into the outermost fringes of mapped space, beyond any Imperial chart, deep into Chiss territory. The journey was slow and silent, our ships slipping through systems so far removed from the Core that the stars themselves seemed alien. Gravity wells shifted unpredictably, and the navicomputer’s projections often failed. At last, emerging from the shadow of an uncharted moon, we encountered another Remnant cell — the largest known to still operate in the galaxy. Their fleet dwarfed ours: dagger-shaped destroyers, stormcloud-black, with markings unfamiliar to any Imperial registry I’ve seen. Its leader: Grand Admiral Rapier, feared across a hundred systems, and known by his other title — Fleet Commander . Reports describe him as a tactician without mercy, a man who never wastes words or prisoners. I have not yet stood in his presence, but the whispers among the crew are insistent — a meeting is inevitable… and dangerous. Our docking orders came without ceremony. No speeches, no fanfare — only a coded command to await further instructions. We’ve been stationed here for three standard days now. No movement. No transmissions. Only the watchful gaze of their patrol craft circling like predators. For now, I remain on standby. The silence between messages is oppressive, heavier than any battlefield. It feels as though the galaxy itself is holding its breath — waiting for something to break.

Entry 02
Orders arrived without fanfare, as they always do. A single datapad left on my bunk, sealed with the insignia of the 26th Recon Unit. My next assignment: reconnaissance of an uncharted world in the far reaches of the Unknown Regions. No name, no designation — just raw planetary coordinates and a mission directive: Survey. Confirm viability. Report. Deployment vessel: TIE Reaper [The Hailfire]— fast, stealth-capable, built for insertion. The pilot is one of my own squadmates from the 26th, Lieutenant Korr Vale. We’ve flown together before; Vale doesn’t talk much, but when he does, it’s worth listening. He’s the kind of man who can thread a Reaper through a canyon at full speed without leaving a scratch on the hull. The planet is listed as “unmapped,” but the way Command emphasized caution tells me otherwise. No planetary scans, no orbital presence, no comm traffic — but something about it has drawn Imperial attention. We launch at 0400 shipboard time. The Hailfire will drop us low into the atmosphere, below detection range, then return to orbit. No backup, no extraction until the mission’s complete. Vale didn’t say it, but I saw it in his eyes when we reviewed the briefing: We’re going in blind.

Entry 03
We touched down on the surface just after dawn, the planet’s atmosphere thick and swirling with strange clouds. The landing was smooth, thanks to Lieutenant Korr Vale’s skill—he’s a master at navigating tight spots. As soon as we hit the ground, I could feel the silence around us—no wildlife, no signs of civilization, just an eerie stillness. Our initial scans revealed strange, glowing minerals scattered across the rugged terrain. Upon closer inspection, these minerals are Kyber crystals—powerful and rare, with potential utility for our purposes. The planet’s surface appears untouched, yet an unsettling feeling persists—like we’re being watched. The readings from our scanners are unusual; they don’t match any known signatures. Suddenly, a faint shimmer appeared in the distance. It was quick, almost like a mirage, but it moved—something semi-organic or alive. Vale and I exchanged cautious glances. We are deep in unknown territory now, and everything feels more unpredictable than anticipated. We are proceeding with caution, keeping our senses sharp. Whatever this planet holds, it’s clear we are not alone—and we have encountered something far more mysterious than a simple survey. The Kyber crystals could be a valuable resource, but further investigation is required before any extraction.

During our return journey from the planet’s surface, I collected several Kyber crystals as proof of our findings. I intend to present these to the Admiral upon our arrival. Of all the crystals, I kept one for myself—this one called to me. It shone with a brilliant blue hue on the ground, but the moment I picked it up, it shimmered golden. I quickly stashed the crystal in my chest pouch for safekeeping. While moving back to the landing site, I heard a noise. I raised my head just in time to see a figure—someone watching us. They didn’t think I saw them, but I played it cool in front of the other four squad members. We are now heading back to the ship, Once aboard, I reported what I saw and the crystals I collected. I also told the crew about the mysterious figure and the strange crystal that called to me. We continued our cautious exploration of the planet, but no further incidents occurred. We eventually found a native village, but chose not to engage or disturb them. Our focus was on returning safely. I handed over all the Kyber crystals to the Admiral, except for the one that called to me—this one I kept. I also provided a brief but precise report: Mission Successful Kyber crystals found in the ground Natives observed lurking nearby No threats detected Atmosphere remains stable The Admiral ordered us to return to our quarters. We are to remain on standby for the next few days; no new missions have been assigned yet.

Entry 05
After a 14-day cycle, we are deploying again. The coordinates point to an ancient Sith temple ruin on Malachor V. Historical logs indicate the temple was a weapon; current scans confirm an ancient, potent presence beneath the rock and dust. We land the TIE Reaper (The Hailfire) near the ruin’s threshold. Our objective: determine if anything of value survived and to assess potential threat or utility for the Empire. As we approached, the ruins revealed statues that seemed almost too perfect. On closer inspection, they were not statues but corpses—un-decayed, preserved by unknown means. When I touched one, it dissolved to dust. We did not linger with them, though numerous corpses held lightsabers. I salvaged several sabers; they would not ignite without kyber crystals, so I preserved them but found none among them to power a blade. I searched thoroughly but did not locate any Kyber crystals. Day 1 summary: Found twenty old lightsabers; salvaged components. Hilt: black durasteel with gold accents; blade emitter made of white durasteel, nearly resembling a TIE Defender.
Day 2:
Delved deeper into the temple ruins. An unexpected red glimmer in the dust revealed a red glowing pyramid.
The pyramid has been recovered and taken to ISD Inferno.
Admiral confirmed: this is a Sith holocron. Acknowledged and filed as a significant find; commendations to the 26th Recon Unit.
Current status:
The 26th recon unit secured the holocron and the sabers. We have returned to the Inferno for debrief and analysis.
Awaiting further directives from the Admiral; no new mission assigned yet.
Notes:
The ruins’ artifact collection could provide strategic insights into Sith-era technologies.
We proceeded with caution.
