Phantom Squadron was an Assassination squadron attached to Wing XI of the ISD Immortal. It operated from 1999 until the closing of the Immortal in April 2004. It had a brief return in 2005 as a testing squadron for the
Imperial Alliance platform being developed by the Science Office, before closing again in early 2006.
History
Phantom Squadron opened in 1999 as one of the first activated squadrons onboard the ISD Immortal. As befitting its name, it has always operated as a squadron of twelve TIE Phantoms.
Phantom Squadron earned the distinction of being the first squadron with 12 pilots in 2001, under the command of Werdna Elbee.
Other squadron commanders of note includes Badlands, Spearkhawk, Gunman, and Mark, with Badlands, Elbee, and Mark all served two tours of duty as commander of Phantom Squadron.
