GameRanger is a software for Macintosh and Windows created by Australian developer Scott Kevill, which allows multiplayer games to be played online and provides social features such as chat rooms and voice chat. GameRanger was first released in July 1999 and can be downloaded on their website at www.gameranger.com.

GameRanger is available for the following platforms: Mac OS, Mac OS X, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10, Windows 11

Gameranger is used to connect players in multiplayer games online such as X-wing vs. TIE Fighter or X-wing Alliance, which features a chat room to talk with other players similar to IRC chats.

GameRanger's logo is a blue icon stylized as the letter G, overlayed with a black crosshair icon

GameRanger supports over 500 multiplayer games ranging from 101st: Airborne in Normandy to Yu-Gi-Oh! Power of Chaos: Joey the Passion

GameRanger can be compared to similar clients such as Hamachi, LogMeIn, and GameSpy. When GameSpy closed, GameRanger supported all the games previously supported by GameSpy
