Overview

The Imperial Achievement is a service award of the Emperor's Hammer. It is awarded to officers in recognition of bursts of activity or meritorious service not captured in monthly evaluations. As it is awarded outside of the MSE process, it is awarded to pilots in the TIE Corps at their Squadron Commander's discretion. The IAR should be awarded as closely as possible to the recognized activity. This is inherent in the spirit of the medal, to quickly award activity outside the MSE process. It was officially implemented in the database on 24 April 2021.

Award Authority

In the TIE Corps, this ribbon can be awarded by Squadron Commanders, Battlegroup Commanders, and Command Staff officers.

Guidelines

The IAR is...

  • Used to recognize short bursts of activity of roughly 10 MSE points equivalent in roughly three days.
  • Intended to be awarded no more often than once every ten days by the same recommending authority.
  • Should not be used for activity that is earning another award, like a Medal of Instruction or merit medal.

For more detailed guidelines refer to IAR Guidelines.

Upgrades

The IAR may be upgraded as follows:

  • Bronze Leaf (-BL) - Awarded for receiving the IAR twenty-five (25) times.
  • Silver Leaf (-SL) - Awarded for receiving the IAR fifty (50) times.
  • Gold Leaf (-GL) - Awarded for receiving the IAR one hundred (100) times.
