Not much is currently known about the mysterious alien species. The little intel the TIE Corps has received about the Ishtari is that they are a hive culture that has been raiding systems in the Unknown Regions near G'Rho and Zaadja.
TIE Corps Encounters
The First Recon Division first encountered the Ishtari above Tusorix in 30 ABY during Raise the Flag 2022.
The next time the TC encountered the Ishtari, it was in the bug creature's home star cluster, the ``Assurian Halo``, was located. The TC forces arrived at the system to free the planets from the insectoids control and hopefully destroy them for good in Imperial Storm V.
