GR-MS

GR-MS, also known as "Grimace", is an Arakyd Industries RA-7 protocol droid currently assigned to Wing II, stationed on the Imperial-II Class Star Destroyer Warrior.

Biography

GR-MS could be considered an antique, if antiques hassled officers about completing requisition forms correctly. The protocol droid's service dates back to before the Clone Wars, but his memory of these events is spotty due to several memory wipes. He served as a tactical advisor in the Galactic Republic Navy throughout the Clone Wars and transitioned to the Imperial Navy following Palpatine's Proclamation of the New Order. At some point, he came into the possession of the Emperor's Hammer and was transferred to the ISDII Warrior. Due to his long history and numerous memory wipes of questionable effectiveness, he tends to recite random facts about historical battles without being prompted to.

He is currently assigned as the personal assistant to General Gilbert H. Frown, Wing II Commander. His duties include preparing briefing presentations, attending briefings, reminding Squadron Commanders about briefings, and ensuring Squadron Commanders complete all forms correctly and in a timely manner.

GR-MS has been nicknamed "Grimace", mostly due to his haughty disposition, nagging manner, and his association with General Frown. Everyone aboard the Warrior, aside from General Frown, refers to the droid by his nickname.
