The following rank system was in use by the Hammer's Fist beginning in 2015. See also the archived Hammer's Fist Field Manual section on ranks.

Officer Ranks
General	General is an Officer rank in the Hammer's Fist. It the highest of the officer ranks. Unlike lower ranks, this rank cannot be achieved via the gain of Advancement Points (AP).
Lieutenant General	Lieutenant General is an Officer rank in the Hammer's Fist. Unlike lower ranks, this rank cannot be achieved via the gain of Advancement Points (AP).
Major General	Major General is an Officer rank in the Hammer's Fist. Unlike lower ranks, this rank cannot be achieved via the gain of Advancement Points (AP).
Brigadier General	Brigadier General is an Officer rank in the Hammer's Fist. To be promoted from the previous rank, High Colonel, a member needs 10,000 Advancement Points (AP) and to have been in their rank for 16 weeks.
High Colonel	High Colonel is an Officer rank in the Hammer's Fist. To be promoted from the previous rank, Colonel, a member needs 5,00 Advancement Points (AP) and to have been in their rank for 14weeks.
Colonel	Colonel is an Officer rank in the Hammer's Fist. To be promoted from the previous rank, Lieutenant Colonel, a member needs 3,000 Advancement Points (AP) and to have been in their rank for 12 weeks.
Lieutenant Colonel	Lieutenant Colonel is an Officer rank in the Hammer's Fist. To be promoted from the previous rank, Major, a member needs 2,000 Advancement Points (AP) and to have been in their rank for 10 weeks.
Major	Major is an Officer rank in the Hammer's Fist. To be promoted from the previous rank, Captain, a member needs 1,000 Advancement Points (AP) and to have been in their rank for 8 weeks.
Captain	Captain is an Officer rank in the Hammer's Fist. To be promoted from the previous rank, Lieutenant, a member needs 500 Advancement Points (AP) and to have been in their rank for 6 weeks.
Lieutenant	Lieutenant is an Officer rank in the Hammer's Fist. To be promoted from the previous rank, Second Lieutenant, a member needs 250 Advancement Points (AP) and to have been in their rank for 4 weeks.
Second Lieutenant	Second Lieutenant is an Officer rank in the Hammer's Fist. It is the lowest Officer rank.
Enlisted Ranks
Sergeant Major of the Legion	Sergeant Major of the Legion is a rank within the Hammer's Fist. To earn a promotion from the previous rank, Sergeant Major, a member needs to earn 10,000 Advancement Points (AP), and have also served a minimum of 16 weeks at their previous rank.
Sergeant Major	Sergeant Major is a rank within the Hammer's Fist. To earn a promotion from the previous rank, Master Sergeant, a member needs to earn 5,000 Advancement Points (AP), and have also served a minimum of 14 weeks at their previous rank.
Master Sergeant	Master Sergeant is a rank within the Hammer's Fist. To earn a promotion from the previous rank, Gunnery Sergeant, a member needs to earn 3,000 Advancement Points (AP), and have also served a minimum of 12 weeks at their previous rank.
Gunnery Sergeant	Gunnery Sergeant is a rank within the Hammer's Fist. To earn a promotion from the previous rank, Staff Sergeant, a member needs to earn 2,000 Advancement Points (AP), and have also served a minimum of 10 weeks at their previous rank.
Staff Sergeant	Staff Sergeant is a rank within the Hammer's Fist. To earn a promotion from the previous rank, Sergeant, a member needs to earn 1,000 Advancement Points (AP), and have also served a minimum of 8 weeks at their previous rank.
Sergeant	Sergeant is a rank within the Hammer's Fist. To earn a promotion from the previous rank, Specialist, a member needs to earn 500 Advancement Points (AP), and have also served a minimum of 6 weeks at their previous rank.
Specialist	Specialist is a rank within the Hammer's Fist. To earn a promotion from the previous rank, Corporal, a member needs to earn 250 Advancement Points (AP), and have also served a minimum of 4 weeks at their previous rank.
Corporal	Lance Corporal is a rank within the Hammer's Fist. To earn a promotion from the previous rank, Lance Corporal, a member needs to earn 100 Advancement Points (AP), and have also served a minimum of 2 weeks at their previous rank.
Lance Corporal	Lance Corporal is a rank within the Hammer's Fist. To earn a promotion from the previous rank, Private First Class, a member needs to earn 50 Advancement Points (AP), and have also served a minimum of 1 week at their previous rank.
Private First Class	Private First Class is a rank within the Hammer's Fist. To earn a promotion from the previous rank, Private, a member needs to earn 10 Advancement Points (AP).
Private	Private is the lowest non-training rank available to members of the Hammer's Fist.
Recruit	Recruit is the rank given to all new members of the Hammer's Fist. It is used solely as a training rank.
