Star Wars: TIE Fighter
Star Wars: TIE Fighter is the second installment of games within the X-Wing game series, released in 1994 by Lucasfilm Games LLC and Totally Games. It was developed by Lawrence Holland and Edward Kilham. Later on, several other verions were released. TIE Fighter was one of the first Star Wars games where you play for the Empire. Later, 2 expansions were added, with a total of 6 more campaigns added on top of the original 7. These expansions were called Enemies of the Empire and Defender of the Empire.
Campaigns[edit]
Battle 1: Aftermath of Hoth[edit]
This campaign follows the pilot being stationed in the Hoth Sector, and the station D-34. You chase down the Rebels fleeing from their base on Hoth. It is based during the events of Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. You fight the Rebels and their Mugaari pirate allies.
Battle 2: The Sepan Civil War[edit]
This campaign follows the pilot and Admiral Harkov ending the Sepan Civil War, where 2 species are fighting among each other. Following Imperial intervention, the species unite to fight the Empire, but fail. Here, the TIE Advanced fighter is first seen, but not flown.
Battle 3: Battle on the Frontier[edit]
The third campaign follows the pilot and Vice Admiral Thrawn establishing a new base in the Newland System, beating back pirate and Rebel attacks.
Battle 4: Conflict at Mylock IV[edit]
This campaign follows Grand Admiral Zaarin obtaining hyperdrive technology for his TIE Advanced project. You protect one group, while fighting back Rebels and their pirate allies who are trying to steal the technology.
Battle 5: Battle for Honor[edit]
In this campaign, Admiral Harkov, previously revealed to be engaged in suspicious activity, defects to the Rebel Alliance and attempts to kill the player. However, you succeed, and together with Darth Vader and the Secret Order take down Harkov. His fleet, however, escapes...
Battle 6:[edit]
In this campaign, you protect Zaarin's hyperspace and beam weapon technology from Rebel attacks. You also take out traitors who developed warheads for the enemy.
Battle 7: Treachery at Ottega[edit]
In this campaign, many things happen. In the first half, you eliminate the remnants of Harkov's fleet. Later, Zaarin, instead of helping you, betrays the Empire, and launches a coup against the Emperor. You get to fly the TIE Defender.

TIE Fighter 1994[edit]
TIE Fighter 1994 was the initial version of TIE Fighter. It featured many upgrades over the X-Wing Game, including Gouraud Shading, support for more vessels, and more quality of life improvements.
