Warfare Office
The Warfare Office is the home of the Warfare Officer (WO), the TCCS individual who is primarily responsible for managing competitions in the TIE Corps, not including the events being run by the Combat Operations Officer.
The current incumbent is AD Phoenix Berkana.
2023 Calendar of Events
- March: Imperial Storm 5
- February - May: TIE Corps in Battle - Season Six
- June: Squadron ReMobilization
- September: Raise the Flag
Fleet Competitions
The Warfare Officer is responsible for running a number of the TIE Corps fleet wide competitions. The main events are listed below.
Raise the Flag
Over a decade ago, the TIE Corps Commander's dreams became reality in a forum never seen before: Raise the Flag, a giant combat arena where every available ship, squadron and pilot was called to duty to fight for power and glory. The victorious would be granted the highest awards and honors, and the ship would have the highest responsibility of carrying the Flag of the TCCOM.
A wide range of activities will count points in this competition. Details are in the usual places. TIE Corps officers will partake in any and every way they can for the glory of their ships, their squadrons, and themselves! Every battle, reputations are on the line in Raise the Flag, as master pilots pit their activity against each other.
Raise the Flag is the pre-eminent TIE Corps competition held each year that pits every pilot, every squadron and every battlegroup against their peers.
The last results are from Raise the Flag 2022
The next version is due to run in September 2023.
Ace of the TIE Corps
Ace of the TIE Corps is run annually in three separate categories, SP, PvE and PvP with monthly and annual counts derived from the three TIE Corps killboards.
Monthly Awards
- First place monthly: IS-GW
- Second and third place monthly: IS-SW
- Fourth, fifth, and sixth place monthly: IS-BW
- Seventh, eighth, ninth, and tenth place monthly: IS-CW
Annual Awards
- First place annually: IS-PW
- Second and third place annually: IS-GW
- Fourth, fifth, and sixth place annually: IS-SW

Single Player Category: https://tc.emperorshammer.org/competitions.php?id=3506
- Every Single Player mission flown earns the pilot a point on the Kill Board and the top ten pilots at the end of the month earn medals. Yearly, the top fifteen pilots earn medals.
- Each mission only counts once for the year, but missions flown in previous years can be reflown for points on the Kill Board (but not additional FCHG points). The Kill Board statistics on the TIE Corps website are final.
PvE Category: https://tc.emperorshammer.org/competitions.php?id=3508
- Every Legion of Skirmish earned gives the pilot a point on the Multiplayer Coop Kill Board and the top ten pilots at the end of the month earn medals. Yearly, the top fifteen pilots earn medals.
PvP Category: https://tc.emperorshammer.org/competitions.php?id=3507
- Every Legion of Combat earned gives the pilot a point on the Multiplayer Kill Board and every Distinguished Flying Cross earned gives the pilot eighteen points. The top ten pilots at the end of the month earn medals. Yearly, the top fifteen pilots earn medals.
Imperial Storm
Imperial Storm is a turn based war game that the TIE Corps runs every year. Previous incarnations have seen the three Battlegroups spar over a sector of space seeking to claim dominance. Whilst the teams move their fleets around the map, combat which occurs when the opposing forces meet is decided by the accumulation of Legions and performance in a selected Single Player mission over a 48 hour period.
The next version is due to run in Q1 2024, likely March.
Squadron ReMobilization
TIE Corps Exercise: Squadron (Re)Mobilization is a competition that see's our Squadrons attempting to complete a number of tasks, these have differed slightly between the 4 versions we have run so far but depending upon the number completed we have awarded squadrons with a both medals and the ability to change their fighters and objectives.
The next version is due to run in June 2023.
TIE Corps in Battle
One battle each from TIE, XvT, and XWA will be assigned monthly. Pilots will fly the battles and submit their pilot files through the database normally. The TCCOM receives a copy of all BSFs, so neither pilot files nor BSFs need to be forwarded to the competition runner unless the submission gets queued in the database. In the case of a queued submission, send the pilot file to the WO.
Rounds in Season Six will run for one month each starting from mid-month to put TCiB on a slightly different schedule from most competitions. For example, the first round is starting on the 15th of February and will end at 2359 on the 15th of March.
Competition details and battle assignments can be found here: https://tc.emperorshammer.org/competitions.php?id=3530
Competition Guidance
Competitions can be submitted via the the Management Panel on your TIE Corps profile where you need to add a requisite amount of information about the competition, including start and end dates, medals to be won and a description.
As a rule of thumb, the TIE Corps prefers not to duplicate competitions that are already in existence at a wider level other than trivia. For example a squadron or battle group version of Ace of the TIE Corps would not be approved as it is essentially double dipping with regards to medals. We do though allow similar competitions and if you can use a different metric, for example Legions with a certain number of your own squadron present instead of a flat count of Legions, then it would likely be approved. Again, if in doubt please contact the WO.
When it comes to medals, please remember
- Platinum Iron Stars may only be awarded for first place in Corps-wide competitions that either last at least four months or for more complex events like Raise the Flag.
- Gold Iron Stars are awarded for first place in battlegroup, ship, and wing competitions. They’re also awarded for Corps-level competitions that last less than a few months and to the runner-up for an IS-PW. Competitions at the Corps, battlegroup, ship, and wing levels that run for less than a month or have rounds that last less than a month should not award IS-GWs to keep them from becoming too common.
- Silver Iron Stars are awarded for first place in squadron-level competitions that last at least one month. They’re also awarded to the runner-up for an IS-GW.
- Bronze Iron Stars are awarded for first place in squadron-level competitions lasting less than one month or to the runner-up for an IS-SW.
- Copper Iron Stars would never need to be a first place award, with other Iron Stars fulfilling that purpose. Any competition awarding the IS-BW or IS-BR may award an IS-CW or IS-BR to the runner-up.
- Operational Readiness Award: These should not be awarded as a simple “participate in the competition, get a medal”. The idea for the ORA is that pilots can make achievements in a competition without placing, for example completing a certain number of tasks. If in doubt please reach out to the WO for advice.
