The Battlegroup III Summer Games is a competition where all pilots of Battlegroup III are invited to compete in a series of different events using current primary platforms of the TIE Corps. The specific events themselves are kept secret until being revealed, and are intended to focus on skills-based challenges, rewarding pilots for in-game performance (rather than quantity of activity).

2024 Battlegroup III Summer Games[edit]

The inaugural Battlegroup III Summer Games was held in 2024, and consisted of five events over the course of ten weeks, between June 7th, 2024 and August 15th, 2024. Platforms used included X-Wing Alliance, EA Battlefront II, Star Wars: Hunters, Star Wars Squadrons, and Star Conflict, with events consisting of fastest mission time (X-Wing Alliance), highest PvE kill count (EA BF2), highest PvP score (SWH), highest PvP kill count (SWS), and highest PvE score (SC).

Participating squadrons included Typhoon Squadron, Tempest Squadron, Firebird Squadron, Eagle Squadron, and Scorpion Squadron, although Scorpion Squadron was opened late into the competition. The Battlegroup Commander participated as well as an individual unit.

While officially an individual competition, medals awarded to members was tracked by squadron. Typhoon Squadron earned the most medals during these games, powered by Major Prost Varsis, who medaled in four out of five events.
