Overview
The Operational Readiness Award is a competition medal of the TIE Corps presented for achievements made during competitions and events. Multiple awards may be presented for an individual achievement based on the nature of the excellence demonstrated. All Iron Stars with Copper Wings or Copper Ribbons were automatically converted to awards of the Operational Readiness Award.
Award Authority
This medal is awarded as a result of competitions submitted by any level of leadership in the TIE Corps. All competitions are vetted and approved by the Dean of IWATS.
Upgrades
The ORA is upgraded as a pilot receives more of them, starting with the First Circle (-1C) at five awards, Second Circle (-2C) at 25 awards, Third Circle (-3C) at 125 awards, then further levels every additional 125 awards.
