Tan

"Tan" is the highest Combat Rating level in the TIE Corps, earned upon reaching 1,000 combat rating points.

Tan is considered both a title and a rank, bestowed upon starfighter pilots in recognition of their exceptional skills. Two well-known Tans in the Star Wars universe are Anakin Skywalker and Maarek Steele. In the TIE Corps, the only pilot ever to have received this title is Brucmack.

Tan replaced "Jedi" and "Jedi Master" after it was the winning entry in a competition to rename the combat rating levels.
