Mix Amcehnic
Mix Amcehnic is currently assigned to Rho Squadron, stationed on the Imperial-II Class Star Destroyer Warrior. He is the Maintenance Crew Chief for Rho Squadron.
Biography[edit]
Early Life[edit]
Childhood for an Arkanian Offshoot is a rigorously structured routine preparing the individual in mental discipline, physical rigor, and high cognitive complexity for a specific task. Mix was noted at five years old for prowess in mechanical ingenuity. His inability to conform to his prescribed role began to emerge in his seventeenth year, earning him punishment through his first rotation in an Imperial sponsored weapons production penal facility on Arkania. The connections he made here would become important later in life - as an established framework for a network would grow over time.
Adulthood[edit]
His third stint in an Imperial sponsored weapons penal facility was a two year sentence, this time at a top tier location on Coruscant. His aptitude for creating weapons grade circuitry and his experience within the penal factory system helped him be admired by his peers. After release, those new connections led him to profit pathways in illicit parts dealing, which he parlayed into additional genetic alterations and physical enhancements. While Arkanian Offshoots were created in part with human genetics, Mix’s final alterations upgraded him from “passing” as human to instead fooling Imperial identity scanners that he is human.
Mix joined the Imperial Flight Academy but failed flight school - and as a result was discarded from the ranks of officers and placed in the maintenance and mechanical programs. While his flight skills in simulation were top tier, in the pilot seat of a Tie Fighter out in open space, his genetic alterations were not enough to overcome the stunning brightness of major planetary and stellar objects. Imperial pilot helmet eye shading is insufficient for the light sensitivity of Arkanians, a species known for their night vision and ability to see into the infrared.
TIE Corps[edit]
Listeners and allies from across the hyper-lanes had tipped him that he should flee Coruscant before he was located by Arkanian authorities. Those authorities would have summarily executed him publicly for his insolence and rebellion, and as an example of the futility in attempting to escape the Arkanian caste system. The friends and allies he made during his first experience within the penal system were critical elements of his secret network, which skillfully passed the information along that saved his life. However, Mix's loyalty to the Emperor's Hammer is the bare minimum. The Empire and his role within the Emperor’s Hammer keeps him alive, out of trouble, away from his debtors, with decent food and plenty of stiff drink. No more, no less.
When the hangar is empty, Mix will wander out to the edge of the hangar bay’s force field, put on his welding goggles, and watching the passing stars.
