Theta Crew Chief

The Crew Chief for Theta Squadron works closely with the Squadron Commander to maintain the fighters, equip them for missions, and general mission readiness for any vehicles or equipment being used by the squadron. This role is critical to the success of the squadron in their Special Insertion and Extraction goals.

Due to a loss of records, not much is known about the Crew Chiefs for Theta prior to 30 ABY.

Lourin Calis

Lourin began her service to the Empire shortly before the Battle of Endor. She was one of the Ugnaughts that had helped prepare the carbon freezing chamber at Cloud City when the Empire attempted to capture the rebel, Luke Skywalker. She appreciated the work and security the Empire brought to the floating city. In the chaose after Endor, she went looking for safer work in the Outer Rim where she stumbled upon an Imperial Remnant, the Emperor's Hammer. She worked her way up the ranks from mechanic and got her posting to Theta's Crew Chief a few months before Vapen Van'an took Command in 30 ABY. After the battle with the Ishtari, she volunteered her services to help repair the rest of the fleet at Tusorix while the Warrior stood guard. During her absence, Mix and Nix from Rho Squadron took over the maintenance of Theta's fighters, having worked with Vapen previously during his assignment to Rho. For her help in repairing the fleet, Lourin was awarded the Imperial Service Medal.
