CM Spiffy the Chicken is the greatest avian pilot in the Emperor's Hammer Strike Fleet. While non-humans rarely serve in the Imperial Navy, the pilots of Sigma Squadron make an exception for Spiffy because "If the Rebels fry him, at least he'll be delicious."

At the age of 6 months, his parents gave up custody of him to the Imperial Department of Military Research. During which his genes were spliced with that of a chicken. The test conclusions are still restricted. At the age of 16 he was released and began a life of a mercenary pilot. After being bested at both Cu'bikad and flighing by a well know mandalorian, he sought a more traditional training in the ranks of the Emperor's Hammer.
He is known to be a fairly skilled mechanic and will often add his own 'flair' to any ship issued to him.
