Overview[edit]
The Merit Cross is the basic merit award of the Infiltrator Wing, given for any activity above and beyond the call of duty. Examples of this are creating a unit web page, assisting your commander in certain activities, and generally being an outstanding member of the IW. First Class Merit Crosses are also awarded for members scoring 100% on a IWTA Course Submission while Second Classes are award to those scoring between 95 and 99%. This medal comes in two levels: Merit Cross First Class and Merit Cross Second Class, First Class being the senior of the two.

The Merit Cross 2nd Class was the 9th highest Award of the Infiltrator Wing.

This medal may be awarded by Squadron Commanders and above.
