Battlegroup VII

Battlegroup 7 is an inactive battlegroup that was assigned to the ISD Intrepid. It housed Wing XIV. Battlegroup VII belonged to the Aggressor Strike Force. The Intrepid had multiple Commodores, which was the equivalent to a BGCOM back when the ASF was active. The Intrepid and it's Battlegroup carried the nickname "The Snakepit" due to the names of the squadrons assigned to it. Their motto was "We are the Intrepid few". Notable commodores of the Intrepid are HA Wil Striker, VA Frodo March, VA Gidda, and AD Adren Silvori. Eventually, Battlegroup VII was decomissioned, probably around 2005 when many open areas were shrunk under the leadership of Grand Admiral Rapier.
