Trivia for the Challenged
Trivia for the Challenged is an on-going competition in Battlegroup III in which pilots are challenged on a weekly basis to answer Star Wars trivia questions. Trivia questions can vary from Star Wars movies, TV shows (current and classic), video games, Expanded Universe (both legacy and current), as well as Emperor's Hammer club lore and current rosters.

The Challenge has a long history of trivia competitions, dating back to the days of IRC where such competitions would be held live weekly, typically at the end of a ship/wing meeting, in whichever channel the ship was using at the time (#isd_challenge or #wing_x).
This current trivia competition was first launched by Phoenix Berkana in July 2020 for Wing X pilots onboard the ISD Challenge. While the name is a reference to the fact that this competition was originally devised specifically for pilots of the Challenge, it has expanded in-line with the growth of Battlegroup III to include ships other than the Challenge. Pilots to date have voted to retain the original name.
While the points, awards, and organizers have varied and changed over the seasons, the competition has consistently involved a weekly trivia challenge of four questions. Awards have generally been given to the weekly winner, the pilot with the most points each month, and (with the exception of the first two iterations of the competition) the overall season winner. Later seasons have increased the number of awards issued to include runner-ups, third place monthly finishers, and fourth place season finishers.

Each season of Trivia for the Challenged takes place over three months (time period is four months, but no trivia is held during Imperial Storm, Raise the Flag, or (Re)Mobilization) and consists of 4 weekly trivia questions. Points are awarded based on how many of the four questions were answered correctly (0-4), with additional points being awarded to the top two performers (4 additional points to the top performer, 2 additional points to the runner-up).
Performance is based first on 1) number of questions asked correctly, followed by 2) time it took to answer the questions. In the case of a tie in time, both pilots are awarded the points and corresponding award.
Monthly awards are given to the pilots with the top three highest point totals. Tiebreakers are broken by 1) the least number of rounds the points were obtained in, followed by 2) total time that month. If a tie remains, both pilots are awarded the corresponding award.
Season awards are given to the pilots with the top four highest point totals. Tiebreaker rules are the same as for the monthly awards.
