The Fleet Commander's Honor Guard (usually abbreviated as FCHG) is a ranking system that rates pilots in the TIE Corps by combat activity and performance using a point system. These points then determine a pilot's place in the Honor Guard. Points are awarded for completing single player missions. Pilots also compete against each other for points by holding high scores for missions and battles, thereby adding a more competitive element for pilots trying to hold higher ranks.

History

For a long time the necessary points to reach the highest FCHG rank of Imperator [IMPR] were 3000 and the ranks of Optio [OPT], Tesserarius [TSRS], Decurion [DCRN] and Aquilifer [AQFR] did not exist. In 2006 the former Fleet Commander Astatine changed the FCHG point system, attempting to allow for increased activity by raising the amount of FCHG points needed to reach [IMPR] to 10000 and created the aforementioned new ranks to help fill out the FCHG system; this also meant the rest of the FCHG ranks increased their point requirements.

On December 15th 2008 (TAC report #287) Fleet Admiral Anahorn Dempsey as Tactical Officer lowered the point requirements to reach the highest ranks, as it was determined that given activity levels and the size of the Emperor's Hammer membership the point requirements of higher FCHG ranks were unattainable.

FCHG ranks were formerly displayed on the uniform as upgradable flight (pilot) wings. As of January 2021 in IO Issuance #2, the wings were re-designated as the Flight Certification Wings and include points earned from a member's FCHG ranking as well as combat ratings.

Point System
