CAM-9, commonly known by Cam, is a droid active on the ISDII Warrior. Assigned to the Battlegroup Commander as an administrative assistant, they hold the rank of Lieutenant Commander (or at least so they claim).
Characteristics[edit]
CAM-9 is a very intricately created droid in the service of the Emperor's Hammer TIE Corps, with higher-order intelligence, personality, and an intense suite of analytical skills, physical abilities, and anything else a droid could have. In short, Cam is the definition of a perfect droid, possessing any skill and strength imaginable.
What is truly unique about Cam, besides the unparalleled ability, is their appearance. Nobody knows what Cam as a droid looks like, because they are outfitted with incredibly high-tech hologram projectors that they use to generate an outward appearance so realistic that the form that they adopt become physical. Cam can normally be found wearing a generic Imperial officer look, but also enjoys oscillating between every polar opposite one could imagine: one day Cam is a hulking brute of a Dathomiran male, the next a short Pantoran female.
Exemplary of Cam's personality and sense of humor is their occasional penchant of adopting the face of a real person, a real pilot or admiral. Several crewmates or pilots have been ambushed by surprise inspections from General Frown just to learn after the fact that Frown was in fact off on vacation and that they had been pranked by Cam.

Early Life[edit]
The creation and origins of Cam are all but unknown. Expert Imperial technicians under employment by the Emperor's Hammer have tried to analyze Cam, but to no avail. No markings, no identifying marks, and no characteristic quirks can identify a manufacturer or a place of origin.
Equally as cryptic is the lack of knowledge of Cam's pre-TIE Corps time, but this is because they are tight-lipped about that time period. Cam's light-hearted nature becomes guarded when probed about their past, and refuses to divulge even the smallest details.
Time in the TIE Corps[edit]
CAM-9 was found aboard a dead freighter on a routine reconnaissance mission by then-Commander Alexandre Morgan of Rho Squadron, who rescued them and brought them back to the Warrior. Instantly becoming tight friends, they shared complimentary senses of humor and other personality traits. When the Commander of Battlegroup II had a vacancy in the administrative assistant position and was seeking a droid, Cam saw an opportunity to earn their place in the TIE Corps and took the job. This didn't mean that they were too busy for their friendship with Morgan, however, often stealing away or sandbagging time estimates to spend time relaxing and shenaniganing with Morgan.
They also find themselves often on adventures together: throughout their friendship, they have been chased through subterranean tunnels by massive bug-like monsters, helped each other through existential crises, helped one another improve as pilots, people, and members of the TIE Corps, pulled pranks, laughed, and learned more about themselves.
