Battlegroup II is a naval battlegroup of the Emperor's Hammer Strike Fleet under the command of the TIE Corp's First Recon Division. Battlegroup II was reactivated the tenth month of 30 ABY to include the ISDII Warrior and her associated squadrons and ships. In the fourth month of 31 ABY, the ISDII Relentless was added to BGII's forces after a series of encounters with a hostile alien species, the Ishtari.

History[edit]

Battlegroup II was formed under the Command of Admiral Marenta Jean in October of 30 ABY (2022) as battlegroups saw their return to the TC at large. This change persisted until the need for more ships of the First Recon Division arose. In that time, Rear Admiral JetMech had assumed command of the BG during the fleetwide Imperial Storm V in 31 ABY. Shortly thereafter, AD Marenta Jean returned to the Battlegroup commander role as JetMech stepped back to the Flight Lead Role in Theta. She is still currently serving as BGCOM.

When the Relentless was added to BGII's forces, members of Sigma Squadron elected to move to the Relentless, opening Hammer Squadron. The addition of another Star Destroyer to the BGs happened just after the fleet (excluding the only undamaged ship, the Warrior) was forced to Tusorix for repairs. During this time, the Warrior was tasked with guarding the spaceport where the fleet was being repaired.
