According to the TIE Corps Pilot Manual, each TIE Corps Admiralty Board member and EH Command Staff Member is allowed to appoint Assistants that may serve them by fulfilling parts of their duties.
The Combat Operations Officer currently has 2 appointed Assistants, who mainly support the Combat Operations Officer by processing the submitted Multiplayer match screens of the TIE Corps members for Legion of Combat and Legion of Skirmish.
As this is not a full time job, the Combat Operation Officer Assistants (COOA) fulfill their main duty in another active position within the TIE Corps. Ussually the COOA are actual Flight Member, Flight Leader or Squadron Commander in their main position. But even Commodore have been COOA in the past.
The duties of a COOA is quiet demanding and goes beyond the efforts of a typical member of the TIE Corps. Still being appointed as COOA is a privilege. Depending on the effort and quality of a COOA's duty fulfillement he may be granted awards usually unavailable for normal line members.
Current Responsibilities
- processing of Legion of Combat submissions;
- processing of Legion of Skirmish submissions;
- keeping track of processed submissions;
- support for MP competitions/events if needed;
- additional duties as assigned by the Combat Operations Officer;
