Manitsas

Rear Admiral Manitsas is a long-time veteran of the ISD Challenge. While he served both as the Wing Commander of Wing X and as the Commodore of the Challenge, he is perhaps best remembered for his service as a long-time commander of Inferno Squadron.

Biography

Manitsas served as commander of Inferno Squadron for years, becoming a fixture of the Challenge and establishing a culture of professionalism, hard work, and success within Inferno.

Upon General Darklord's resignation as Wing Commander of Wing X, Manitsas surprised many by applying to replace him. He was appointed to the position by then-Challenge Commodore, Vice Admiral Corran Force. But in an unexpected twist, Corran Force would step down himself only a month later. The Challenge looked to Manitsas to fill the void, and he would ascend to the position of Commodore after only a month of service as Wing Commander.

Manitsas served as commodore for seven months, after which time he decided to resign his commission and take a position in the Reserves, where he has remained to this day.

In addition to his long-term service to the Challenge in his official TIE Corps roles, Manitsas was also an active member of the Fleet Medical Corps, serving as the Challenge's inaugural doctor, and later ascending to the role of Senior Medical Officer, tasked with being responsible for all FMC personnel in the TIE Corps Battlegroups.

In his last year of service in the TIE Corps, he also served part-time as an Assistant to the Operations Officer.
