Archenksov

Moviel Archenksov is a Commander in the EH TIE Corps as the leader of Alpha Squadron. He is also an acolyte of the Dark Brotherhood.

Early Life

Moviel Archenksov was born on Corulag four years before the destruction of the Death Star at Yavin. His father, Yazok, was a droid engineer and his mother, Ataraxia, a biologist who specialized in field research. His early years were pleasant; Corulag was a prosperous and prestigious world under the New Order, and his father's business thrived. Unfortunately, it would not last. His mother died while he was still very young, and the Emperor's death at Endor sent Corulag's economy into a tailspin. By the time Governor Snopps surrendered to the New Republic, Yazok Archenksov's specialty droid business was nearly bankrupt and Yazok himself had developed a severe drinking problem. Moviel's older sister, Stasia, tried to keep the family and the business together, but she was killed during the fighting at Corulag between the Imperial Ruling Council and the New Republic in 10 ABY. The New Republic held the planet, but was largely unwilling to allocate relief funds to a planet with such a large Imperial loyalist population. Corulag, after six years of recession, had fallen completely into crime and poverty.

The Imperial Remnant

Archenksov, finally old enough to enlist, joined the Imperial Remnant at the tail end of Supreme Commander Pellaeon's successful Orinda Campaign against the New Republic. He joined up with the main fleet in time for the victory at Lucazec and survived the losses at Quell and Celanon. After four years chasing pirates, Archenksov was assigned to the Remnant's last, disastrous campaign against the New Republic. Despite initial victories at Adumar, Taris, and Champala, the campaign fell apart once Admiral Daala's forces in the Deep Core were crushed by Garm Bel Iblis. Supreme Commander Pellaeon was forced into a fighting retreat, and lost six Star Destroyers and an experimental weapons platform at Anx Minor. Archenksov's command ship was one of those lost, and he barely escaped the battle alive. He spend the remaining four years of his commission on patrols and the occasional skirmish with pirates.

The Emperor's Hammer Strike Fleet

Disgusted by the recklessness and idiocy of the Moffs and Supreme Commander Pellaeon's unwillingness to stand up to them, Archenksov left the Remnant at the end of his mandatory service period in 21 ABY. After a brief and mind-numbingly boring career escorting merchant vessels along the Corellian Run and Rimma Trade Route, Archenksov enlisted with the Emperor's Hammer Strike Fleet in the Minos Cluster and was placed in Alpha Squadron under LC Iceman flying the TIE Defender. The Dark Brotherhood determined he was sufficiently Force-sensitive to begin training.
