Battlegroup III Winter Games

The Battlegroup III Winter Games is a competition where all pilots of Battlegroup III are invited to compete in a series of different events. Unlike the Summer Games variant, all events are known up front and are a mix of gaming and arts, with the gaming events focused on cumulative activity over the course of the competition.

2026 Battlegroup III Winter Games

The inaugural Battlegroup III Winter Games was held in 2026, in honor of the 30th anniversary of the commissioning of the ISD-II Challenge into the Emperor's Hammer Strike Fleet.

The competition consisted of six events (four gaming, two arts) over the course of one month (February 2026). Specifically, the events were:

• Highest Cumulative SP Score (Earn the most total points/score from SP missions across all SP platforms)
• Highest Total PvP Kill Count (Earn the most total kills from PvP wis across all PvP platforms)
• Highest Total PvE Kill Count (Earn the most total kills from PvE wins across all PvP platforms except Helldivers 2)
• Highest Total Helldivers 2 XP Count (Earn the most total XP across all Helldivers 2 PvE matches)
• Best Long-Form Arts Submission (Create a work of art that celebrates the 30th Anniversary of the ISD Challenge's commissioning)
• Best Total Run-On Submissions (Participate in the run-on celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the ISD Challenge's commissioning)

Participating squadrons included Typhoon Squadron, Tempest Squadron, Firebird Squadron,and Scorpion Squadron. The Battlegroup Commander was disqualified from participation.

While officially an individual competition, medals awarded to members was tracked by squadron. Scorpion Squadron and Typhoon Squadron tied for most medals (7, with Scorpion winning more Gold and Silver), while Firebird Squadron earned the most gold medals (3), followed by Tempest Squadron (2). Stand-out competitors with multiple awards included Scorpion's GN Stryker (Gold, Silver, Bronze), Tempest's MAJ Grendel (Gold, Bronze, Copper), Scorpion's CM Evil_Edgar (2 Silvers, Copper), Typhoon's CPT JKast (Silver, Bronze, Copper), Firebird's LCM Tax (Gold and Copper), and Typhoon's COL Jagged Fell III (2 Silvers).
