Combat Operations Officer Assistant
A Combat Operations Officer Assistant (COOA) helps the Combat Operations Officer in their duties, primarily focused on processing multiplayer match reports for the TIE Corps.

According to the TIE Corps Pilot Manual, each TIE Corps Command Staff (TCCS) member may designate Assistants to support the TCCS member in fulfilling some of their duties. Although this requires more effort from the Assistant than if he would be a typical member, Assistants have more activity to note in evaluations and often receive additional or higher merit medals than they would have received otherwise.
A Combat Operations Assistant primarily assists the Combat Operations Officer (COO) in processing multiplayer matches that are present in the TIE Corps multiplayer submission queue, verifying submissions made by members to ensure that all submissions are within COO guidelines. They may also be assigned secondary projects, and some may specialize as subject matter experts in particular platforms or operations. COOAs may also submit and run combat events, reporting results to the COO to properly submit awards.
As this is not a full time job, these Assistants fulfill their main duty in another active position within the TIE Corps. Typically, COOAs are Flight Members, Flight Leaders, or Squadron Commanders in their main position; however. even Commodores have been COOAs in the past.
Potential COOAs must complete the Combat Operations Exam 2 (COE/2) and contact the COO to apply for the position. COOAs will utilize the Queue Processing function on the website to review and approve submissions made by members. COOAs will either approve or deny matches based on the Combat Operations Manual. In some cases, submissions will be reviewed by the COO in the event of situations that do not meet requirements (i.e cases where members submit matches after the 72 hour window).
COOAs are assigned the COOA role on Discord, which is noted with the COOA tag and member's username displayed in teal. COOAs will have access to the Combat Operations channel where COOAs can discuss match submissions, potential ideas for combat events, and other internal COO operations.

- Processing of multiplayer PvP (Legion of Combat) and PvE (Legion of Skirmish) submissions
- Keeping track of processed submissions
- Providing support for multiplayer competitions/events if needed
- Additional duties as assigned by the Combat Operations Officer
