Spear Squadron is an Long-Range Support squadron assigned to Wing IX on the ISD Relentless. In August 2024, Spear Squadron was reactivated in Battlegroup II.
Spear Squadron is a proud elite unit within the Emperor’s Hammer, known for pairing sharp discipline with an equally sharp sense of humor. We take pride in lifting up new pilots, supporting returning veterans, and building an inclusive environment where everyone can grow, compete, and occasionally laugh at our own questionable decisions. Our pilots enthusiastically spill into Star Wars Squadrons, SWTOR, Helldivers 2, Destiny 2, EA Battlefront II, and X-Wing Series Flight Sims—usually leaving a memorable trail of teamwork and controlled chaos behind us. What defines Spear isn’t just our competitive edge; it’s the camaraderie, the shared pride in our identity, and the quirky, relentless energy that makes every mission feel like a story worth retelling.
Squadron Activity[edit]
Spear Squadron has long-term running competitions exclusive to the Squadron itself to help promote activity within and competitions open to the entirety of the TIE Corps. These competitions include but are not limited to Spear's Monthly Puzzle and Spear's Monthly Game Night.
In addition to the competitions that we produce, we have very active members with high counts in Legions of Combat and Legions of Skirmish. We also partake in creative writing and art and expanding our knowledge within the Star Wars Universe. As Squadron Commander, I invite you to join us in these endeavors and to grow with us on our path to become one of the BEST Squadrons of the EMPEROR'S HAMMER TIE CORPS!
