Brett
What survives of Fleet Admiral Brett’s record reveals an officer who carried himself with precision, discretion, and a steady valour that never needed spectacle.
Enlisting in 1995, he rose from pilot to Wing Commander, the first Commodore of ISD Challenge, Logistics Officer, and finally the High Court of the Inquisitors, yet large sections of his service trail are fractured, incomplete, or simply missing from surviving INTEL caches.
Decorations of the highest order cluster around these blank spaces, suggesting operations and responsibilities that were never meant to be fully recorded.
Officially, Brett retired to the Reserves. Unofficially, the Challenge’s old hands insist some officers never leave, they simply shift into the quiet corridors no one admits exist.
