Commander Odin Strongheart "Mittwoch" serves as the SQXO for Eagle Squadron.

History

Early Life

Odin Strongheart was born on Coruscant 19 BBY, Son of a Clone Wars Republic Commando Sergeant Major and a Professional Mom. His father, Randy Strongheart, was a non Clone Sergeant Major for the republic. His mother, Debbie Strongheart, was a formal Republic Communications Officer. Randy and Debbie met while he was an instructor to new recruits in the republic. Debbie went on to complete her contract to raise their new son, Randy Stayed the Course to take on more responsibilities during the war. At the beginning of the year 19ABY, they welcomed their new son into the galaxy.

In 19 BBY, Coruscant was the site of the great Jedi coupe. The Jedi attempted to overthrow the rightful Leader of the republic Chancellor Palpatine. With the quick actions called on by the Supreme Chancellor he was able to execute order 66 to put an end to the uprising. Randy Strongheart was leading a group of commandos to cut off escape of the traitors when he was cut down by a brainwashed padawan, unable to kill one so young, he stayed his hand only to be slain for his mercy. He laid down his life for his morals and faith in the republic, only to be betrayed by the religious zealotry of the order. He left his wife and 2 sons alone in this chaotic world. 

Upon news of her husbands death, Debbie fled the capital with her sons, fearing that the Jedi, if successful, would hunt down all who were involved.

Always jumping system to system began to take a toll on the oldest Son Bradly. He left his family and joined with a trader convoy shortly past the age of 14. Bradly left on the cargo ship and his whereabouts are currently unknown.

Growing up hearing about the great man that his father was, he constantly searched for adventure and the next great challenge in order to get closer to the man he hoped his father would be proud of.

Early Adulthood

In 10 ABY, at the age of 18, Odin made his way back to Coruscant, He enlisted into the Imperial Army. Eventually He was assigned to the Imperial Special Operations Group Ghost Battalion. There under the Command of Inquisitor Jerec he learned a bit of the force. After reciving a mission in the Outer Rim he was approached to join The Emperor's Hammer. Asking further, he discovered their headquarters, Aurora Prime.

With high hopes of doing something even greater with his life he made the transfer and decided to learn the art of flying.

Career

TIE Corps

Line Uniform (Commander)

In 15 ABY, at the age of 23, Odin enlisted with the Emperor's Hammer TIE Corps. Attending the Imperial Weapons and Tactics School (IWATS), he dedicated all of his energy to his studies and duties.

Shortly after graduation and assignment, Odin went on to further his career in hopes of becoming at least half the man his father was.

Blue Squadron

After completing training at IWATS, he was assigned to Blue Squadron. Eager to get behind the stick and make connections with his fellow squadron mates, he jumped straight into his studies and volunteering for mission after mission. He was Not only promoted to Lieutenant but also received commendations for his studies at school as well as his relentless pursuit to flying.

Raven Squadron

In 17 ABY Odin had received news of his brother being spotted in the outer rim territories. He requested an extended leave of absence to hopefully find his brother.

In 30 ABY, After an exhausting search he was unable to locate his brother. Upon his return Odin was assigned to Raven Squadron. With renewed vigor for his role in the Empire He dove straight into his career. Once again jumping behind the stick, he quickly showed how dedicated he was to the Corps. Receiving Distinction and merits, and a new love of his life LT Carebear, he felt as if it was now time to try his hand at the role of leadership.

Eagle Squadron

On Sep 30th, 30 ABY, Odin was given Command of Eagle Squadron, Excited for this new chapter in his life, he went back to the academy to further his training through the officer and leadership courses. For the next few months not only did he try to lead his squadron by example but managed to place in competitions and received a commendation for his bravery.

Sadly in Dec of 30 ABY, Odin's mother had succumb to her battle with cancer. Devastated with grief he reluctantly stepped down from his command to burry the memory of his mother beside her dear husband. He moved to the reserves, vowing to return to duty soon.

In June of 32 ABY, Odin Returned to Duty in his former home of Eagle Squadron in hopes of picking up the pieces of his life and start anew.

On Jul 3rd of 32 ABY, Odin was given the position of SQXO wile his wife took his old position as flight member in Eagle Squadron.
