| This article is part of the series: Emperor's Hammer Manual |
Active Subgroups[edit]
TIE Corps[edit]
The elite TIE Fighter pilots that battle with the Rebel forces and defend the Emperor's Hammer territories.
All pilots must first meet the entrance requirements before they serve the Imperial Navy as the most elite and highly trained starfighter pilots in the Outer Rim Territories. Entering pilots must first apply and then complete initial training requirements. They will then will be appointed to a squadron as a Flight Member.
The TIE Corps pilots are active in single-player competitions (using TIE Fighter, X-Wing vs TIE Fighter, and X-Wing Alliance) as well as online (using XvT, XWA, and Star Conflict).
Secret Order[edit]
The Secret Order is a group that thematically encaptures a Star Wars Universe where operatives utilize their unique set of skills and abilities to place their own stamp on this universe, where members play supported games, take part in competitions and share their creativity all towards the advancement and accolades of their Secret Order persona. It was formally established in 2024 as the successor organization to the Dark Brotherhood. The Secret Order, like the Brotherhood before it, is under the control of the Grand Master as well as the Dark Council.
Inactive/Defunct[edit]
The following subgroups were previously operated by the Emperor's Hammer, but are no longer active. Many activities of these subgroups were transferred to other active Emperor's Hammer subgroups.
The Dark Brotherhood of Jedi[edit]
The Dark Brotherhood (DB), also known as the Dark Brotherhood of Jedi, was a subgroup of the Emperor's Hammer tasked with finding and training Force Sensitives in the ways of the Dark Side of the Force. It has since been replaced by the Secret Order.
Any member of the Fleet was able to join the Dark Brotherhood, working to advance their Dark Jedi persona by gaining ranks within their Order, acquiring medals, earning positions in a Dark Jedi House or Clan, and gaining prestige as they contributed to the Brotherhood.

Hammer's Fist Stormtrooper Legion[edit]
The Hammer's Fist (formally the Hammer's Fist Stormtrooper Legion) is the elite organization of stormtroopers of the Emperor's Hammer ("EH"), an online non-profit Star Wars fan club from the Imperial perspective. The EH has many fictional stormtrooper units spread across its worlds and ships, but the Fist members are the best. It consists of highly trained Imperial Stormtroopers who perform special operations for the fleet, ranging from black ops to deep strikes. Feared throughout the galaxy, only the best recruits become a member of the Hammer's Fist ("HF"). Its recruits are the other army units' hardened veterans.
As a subgroup, the Hammer's Fist is currently inactive, but remains an active part of the Emperor's Hammer Fleet for roleplay/lore purposes.

Infiltrator Wing[edit]
The Infiltrator Wing (IW) was a space simulation subgroup of the Emperor's Hammer. Many former rebellion and New Republic pilots, having seen the error of their ways, returned to the New Order of the Empire. Due to the constant need of the remnants of the Imperial Navy for new starfighter pilots, these pilots were allowed to continue flying their New Republic "alphabet" fighters (i.e., the X-Wing, A-Wing, Y-Wing, and B-Wing) and Capital Ships in the service of the Empire.
The Infiltrator Wing is currently inactive as a separate subgroup, but elements of the IW have been recommissioned within the TIE Corps.

EH Directorate[edit]
The Directorate (DIR) was an Emperor's Hammer subgroup dedicated to the fictional governance of the Emperor's Hammer territories. The Directorate was organized into systems that were controlled by System Moffs, with individual planets controlled by Governor Generals, Lieutenant Governors, and Regional Governors.
As a subgroup, the Directorate is inactive, but remains an active part of the Emperor's Hammer Fleet for roleplay/lore purposes as the governing authority of the Emperor's Hammer territories.

Corporate Division[edit]
The Corporate Division (CD) was a subgroup of the Emperor's Hammer. The Corporate Division consisted of the "slicers" and entrepreneurs of the Fleet, delivering a mix of real-world and roleplay-based services. The individual "corporations" were responsible for new fighters, capital ships, weapons, general PC game "innovations", and goods and services in the service of the Fleet.

The Fringe[edit]
The Fringe was a subgroup of the Emperor's Hammer that focused on the Star Wars Massive Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game (MMORPG) Star Wars Galaxies (SWG). The "adventures" took place online in the always-running MMORPG where players created and personalized their own character/avatar in both appearance, style and profession. Previously, the Fringe also heavily relied on existing West End Games Star Wars RPG (TM) Rules and Sourcebooks. With the shutdown of SWG servers, the Fringe is no longer active.

Bounty Hunter's Guild[edit]
The Bounty Hunter's Guild (BHG) was a subgroup of the Emperor's Hammer Strike Fleet. It is no longer active. Members of the BHG participated in non-gaming activity (online "hunts", fiction writing and graphics creation competitions, etc.), earning Imperial Credits and thus advancement in the BHG. The BHG was also formerly known as the Smuggler's Guild, later renaming to the The Guild, and finally the Bounty Hunter's Guild.

Intelligence Division[edit]
The Intelligence Division (ID) serves as the eyes and ears of the Emperor's Hammer in the chaotic region of the Outer Rim Territories. The ID keeps a close watch not only on our internal Fleet workings but also external threats. Individual 'Bureaus' and 'Branches' of Intel perform highly secret and critical functions for the Fleet. These can include VIP escort, infiltration, information gathering, etc. Although Fighter Missions are used by some Branches of 'Intel', purchase of a flightsim game is not needed to join Intel as WWW and IRC 'hunts' and 'black ops' are conducted as well.
Imperial Senate[edit]
Although the entire Imperial Senate was officially dissolved by decree of Emperor Palpatine just prior to the destruction of the first Death Star at Yavin IV, Grand Admiral Ronin has allowed the Imperial Citizenry to reform the Imperial Senate in the Outer Rim to assist with the management of civilian resources throughout the Territories and to free the Fleet's military structure to defeating the ever-lingering Rebellion.
The Subgroup is comprised a large number of planets, each harboring two Senators and five Representatives, constituting a delegation of seven individuals. When a member graduates from the Imperial University, he or she joins a party and applies to a planet, where they can participate in Planetary Issues, voting and discussing on domestic issues and their interplanetary implications. If a Representative achieves Senator, he can then participate in Senate Issues and debate the finer points of interplanetary policy, civil and political rights, and the Emperor's Hammer.
EH: Star Wars CCG[edit]
In order to provide a decidedly "Imperial perspective" to the popular Star Wars: Customizable Card Game (SW:CCG) produced by Decipher, the EH: Star Wars CCG (EH:CCG) subgroup was added to the Emperor's Hammer. EH:CCG utilized existing published cards in online, real-time CCG gameplay.
Support Organizations/Miscellaneous[edit]
In addition to officially recognized subgroups, the Emperor's Hammer has also operated several smaller task-oriented support organizations.
EH Advanced Guard[edit]
As "Ambassadors" of the Emperor's Hammer, the EH Advanced Guard is comprised of only the most trusted and loyal Imperials. The EH Advanced Guard represents the Emperor's Hammer to various online clubs, magazines, Internet Service Providers (ISPs), WWW sites, etc. In addition, the Ambassadors of the Advanced Guard have made recruitment of new Imperials to the Emperor's Hammer their primary goal. The Advanced Guard is led by the Lord Ambassador (LA) and the Ambassadors (AM).
[edit]
The Fleet Naval Corps opened the doors of Echo Company to new recruits. The Naval Corps exists introduce an Naval element into the TIE Corps, and officers joining the Naval Corps will be assigned to command the numerous Cruisers, Frigates and Corvettes that accompany the Imperial Star Destroyers of the TIE Fighter Corps. The Naval Corps will utilize X-Wing Alliance to conduct Fleet Wargames similar to the recent Fleet Strategic Battle Exercise - Imperial Storm.
Fleet Medical Corps[edit]
The Fleet Medical Corps (FMC) was a support organization that was tasked with strengthening the morale of EH members and encouraging member retention. FMC members were assigned to units in some but not all of the subgroups. Doctors and their Nurse assistants would offer assistance but not RL medical advice.
Sector Rangers[edit]
The Sector Rangers were a small group of volunteers attached to the Security Office that spent time in the EH IRC channels and on the message boards looking for opportunities to provide assistance anyone looking for help and relay observed misconduct to the Security Officer.
EH Imperial Survey Corps (ISC)[edit]
A previous support organization serving as scouts for the Fleet, with contributions populating the System Manual. ISC Corvettes and survey ships continually roamed the Outer Rim Territories, searching for new planetary systems for the Empire to "liberate". The ISC was rolled into the Directorate upon its founding.
EH Civilian Command Authority (CCA)[edit]
A previous support organization that focused on system politics and fleet tactics within the Emperor's Hammer territories. The CCA was rolled into the Directorate upon its founding.
Dark Jedi Brotherhood[edit]
The Dark Jedi Brotherhood was affiliated with the Emperor's Hammer for many years until seceding from the Emperor's Hammer in 2003. It shares a common ancestry with The Dark Brotherhood of Jedi, itself serving as the predecessor organization of the Emperor's Hammer Secret Order.
