Beta Squadron is an inactive squadron of the TIE Corps attached to Wing I of the ISDII Hammer. It has the distinction of being one of the first six squadrons within the Emperor's Hammer, originally formed as a part of the then-Emperor's Hammer Strike Wing.
The combat role of Beta is space supremacy, with the pilots flying the TIE Bomber.

Beta Squadron was formed on December 24th of 1994 in EH NL #1, along with Alpha, Delta, Gamma, Epsilon and Lambda squadrons, their original carrier being the ISD Avenger.
Beta's original role was as an Elite Strike Squadron. The squadron's very first Commander was General Peter Papp and the unit reached active status on the 27th of December, 1994 in EH NL #2. Following a underwhelming amount of activity, and a less-than-optimal performance in a TIE Corp wide event, Beta Squadron was deactivated in 2024 before Raise the Flag 2024. Many of it's members transferred to some of the newly-opened squadrons, like Scorpion Squadron or Spear Squadron.
