According to the TIE Corps Pilot Manual, "The Strategic Operations Officer is primarily responsible for awarding medals and reviewing evaluations. The Strategic Operations Officer is also considered the second-in-command of the TIE Corps."
The SOO is a member of the TIE Corps Command Staff.
The position is currently held John T. Clark as of May 9th, 2020. It was last held by Plif.
