The Lantare System is something of a hidden commodity in the Minos Cluster. Although not technologically wealthy or rich in resources, the Lantare Colonists are fiercely independent to any rule other than their own. The Emperor's Hammer Strike Fleet established two standard Imperial Garrisons in the largest colony of Lantare I, Jaggerbund. However, the Imperial influence realistically extends only to the ramparts of this one settlement. The rest of the planet is free of Imperial rule and considered quite savage.
