The Reconnaissance Officer (RO) is a Command Staff officer (CS-6) responsible for external-facing operations and leading outreach activities in order to promote and advance the Emperor's Hammer. The current Reconnaissance Officer is RA Alexandre Morgan.
Position Description[edit]
The Reconnaissance Officer (RO) serves as the focal point for the Emperor's Hammer external-facing operations and leads the Emperor's Hammer outreach activities in order to promote and advance the club. This includes overseeing the Emperor's Hammer official social media accounts, developing ways to recruit new members, forming relations with other groups, and keeping the membership of the Emperor's Hammer informed of upcoming Star Wars books, games, and events that members may want to take part in. The Reconnaissance Officer coordinates closely with other Command Staff officers and Subgroup Commanders in order to synchronize efforts with internal club activities.
Duties[edit]
- Oversees all Emperor's Hammer official social media accounts.
- Ensures that Emperor's Hammer content, such as links to reports and announcements of events and competitions s promoted on all relevant sites.
- Coordinates with the Internet Officer to facilitate automation of news and event posting between Emperor's Hammer systems and social media communities.
- Works to enhance the relevancy of Emperor's Hammer materials to the broader community.
- Ensures that content posted to Emperor's Hammer social media accounts follows the Code of Conduct and paints the club in a favorable light.
- Develops and implements innovative ways in which to recruit new members and assesses ways to improve the club experience for existing members (especially those new to the club).
- Develops and maintains relationships with other groups through shared gaming, cross-promotion of events, Emperor's Hammer participation in external events, and other activities as appropriate.

Promotional Authority[edit]
The Reconnaissance Officer is authorized to appoint a Command Attaché with a minimum rank of Rear Admiral and maximum rank of Admiral.
Rank[edit]
The Reconnaissance Officer must hold the minimum rank of Rear Admiral. The Reconnaissance Officer may be promoted up to and including the rank of High Admiral.
